you are a discasting person !!!! your stopet lizzard is ugly and to say that it can eat a baby bunny is vary sopet of you ALL THAT THINK LIKE ME THUMBS UP9n8x
doctor said that you should not touch a baby rabbit until he has 3 weeks at least because otherwise the mother doesnt' recognize him and will not feed him anymore?
@lucchang we have brought up multiple litters of these small cuddles and we touched them from the moment they were a couple of days old. The mother knew our smell and also we made sure to first touch the hay so our smell would be on out hands less, but we never had any trouble with them. They did get very tame though, they easy jumped on us and loved to be cuddles.
r.i.p. u cute lil bunny it loks like my brothers but my brothers changed eye colors it changes to blue, brown, and purple and i have one thats brown and grey :D
Domesticated baby bunnies do not die from being handled. Baby bunnies DO NOT HAVE A SCRUFF--so Mom cannot pick them up and put them back in the nest. Yes, they should have quiet, but it doesn't have to be THAT quiet. Bunnies are much heartier than some people think. I'm sorry if the little guy died, but that is why bunnies can have litters every 6 weeks or so. That's how they keep their populations up in the wild. There are a certain amount of "casualties" that will occur naturally.
It takes a little more than that, but they can be quite literally scared to death. Poor little fella. He does look like he's trying to get as much warmth as possible from her hand.
did you not read the freaking description?? they obviously knew this! you people who think you know everything from behind your keyboards piss me off.

You let mommy rabbit out. She looks at her baby and thinks, 'woah there's a baby not in with me'. She does this cool thing where she PICKS IT UP and takes it back in with her.
That would have been the intelligent thing to do.
And I too wonder how it fell out of its cage...if the cage was big enough mama rabbit wouldn't have a nest so close to the front...hmm.
The mommy rabbit probably wouldn't like being taken out when it had the rest of its litter in there to defend. Seriously, you do not want to mess with a mother animal. They did the right thing picking it up and putting it back with its mom.
yes, it was likely from the fall, and new bunnies are SO fragile he could've already been really cold... I had one that died immediately from complications with it's neutering, and then his brother died a couple months later from complications, the Vet tech was fired for it and for botching other surgeries.
we found it on the floor under its cage, so it had fallen out somehow, and sadder still, it didn't make it past the weekend :( probably due to the fall.
yes, was a bit saddened by the news too, wasnt there when he passed away, but to console you, i should let you know that 4 other ones grew up to be fine and healthy ;)
