black ops sucks. i'm 9th prestige in black ops and I STILL like modern warefare 2 better because there are no guns in black ops that are considerably better in that game. in mw2, there are guns that are better than each other, and I tend to do better with those. what I'm trying to say is that black ops is TO balanced with the guns. and ghost mother fuckers should all die.

@warriorjay725 Scar-H has too small of a magazine in my opinion...and seems to have more recoil than others reguardless of the "stats" the UMP-45 is amazing. little to no recoil, accurate, and a great mag capacity. Try it out with a silencer and I guaruntee your game will improve alot. but for larger maps...go with the AK47 silenced or the ACR silenced....maybe the M16..if you can get used to the burst fire its an easy 1-2 burst kill. hope that helps

@TheSeair Because MW2 was made "user-friendly" and was made unbalanced on purpose so newer players could get used to the franchise. Then the commentators rolled around and started technically abusing the system so they could rape like Sandy here. Black ops was made more balanced and is for a little more experienced players, though no one can tell this because of the misaligned perks.

Despite being extremely similar at face value, they do work a little differently. I am personally a little better at MW2, but then again, I've played that the most.

A possible explanation is that the lag compensation systems are different. You might just get favorable compensation in BO all the time while getting the short end of the stick in MW2. That can quickly be a difference of 1 in a pure TDM player's KDR.

It's a bit technical and not easy to grasp, but lag compensation is a huge part of the game. It essentially gives advantages to players with slow connection speeds to help combat those with fast connections, but it doesn't always work properly. With a bit of luck you can have good internet and an advantage, letting you destroy everyone with little trouble.

As for TDM, that's short for Team Deathmatch, while KDR means Kill/Death Ratio.
