  • i thought miru is to look , not to dream !! no???

  • @freakloulou

^_^ YES, miru = to look

but in Japanese yume wo miru / is a set phrase meaning to dream ^_^

If you think about it - yume = dream / miru = to look / see

literally : to see a dream = to dream. = yume wo miru

It's a set phrase so if you wanna say something like. Last night I had a dream about you. Kinou watashi ha anata no yume o mita.

I had a dream about you and my friend. Anata to watashi no tomodachi no yume wo mita.

    Hope it helped. Ganbatte!

  • @UzumakiMatrix i see ! thxs , man japanese is really HARD :( any advices ??

  • Of course! First you gotta learn the sounds and you can do that by learning Hiragana and Katakana first

Then you wanna start by getting yourself a good basic grammar book. Start by discovering how to build your own basic sentences using DESU. Throughout your studies you'll learn how to conjugate verbs in the MASU form in their PAST/negative/ past negative forms

Most important NEVER GO AHEAD OF YOURSELF stick to the basics. You will know for yourself when to move on to harder stuff.
