  • fantastic video.great work.

  • Love Bruegel's work! The Triumph of Death is what got me into his work. Bosch, Dali and Parrish are some of my favorites!

  • The world

  • Im doin this for my history assignment every one else is doin leonardo lol wat faggots

  • I love his work. It's all so creepy and beautiful at the same time . . .

  • Thanks

  • Cool, thanks for your work

  • I recently bought the Fleet Foxes album and it had one of Bruegel's paintings as the album cover.

Ever since then I have really got into his works.

  • Flemish painter, not Dutch. He was from de Nederlanden (a region) of which Flanders was the southern part, not Nederland (a country). Great painter, though.

  • Beautiful and appropriate chant.

  • What did you all think the painting Dulle Griet or Mad Maggie?

  • my favourite artist. i love his works

  • It is Agnus Dei (obviously) but I found it here on YouTube; then stitched it to another Tonal Hymn with the same sound and tenor...

I believe they are both Spanish cantors...

  • If you like "Triumph of Death" and Jeronimus Bosch's artworks, you must see "The fall of the rebel Angels" by Ricmeric on YouTube: an amazing oil painting by a contemporary french artist, Ricmeric.

  • is that reall

  • It's real man...

  • wow i didn't know skeleton can wilk are they demons

  • @turkyyyyyyydark thats not real! the colours have been adulterated

  • The "Triumph of Death" is the most disturbing painting I have ever seen.

This video barely touches it's creepy feel.Seeing it there was life altering, like the tombs in Salermo.Dam...

  • Men this artis really shock me,

I am all ready planing a trip to El museo del Prado in Spain to see some of their work. awsome.

  • Pieter Bruegel is the shit!

  • I never though Youtube would help me in any kind of work...

  • How do you mean...?

  • Well, not directly youtube, but the comment. It helped me start a commentary for a painting :)

Not sure foe the title in english, but in french it's "La parabole des aveugles"

  • thankyou for this :)

  • Excellent presentation. With Brueghel it does need time for details, but the drawback here- as the video says- is not enough time for so many other great paintings.

  • the flemmish painter are for me the greatest ,the one i really envy, it s the first real oil painting on wood panel it s so old and yet so contemporary i was surprise by the colour the liberty in imagination the proof to that is when sudying those artist the teacher tell us to do it ourself they prefer to foccus us on more boring artist in in other period as well in the italian school ,some caracter are draw like some in some comic book with bright light water colour painting

  • Awesome!

  • guess he is probably the closest thing to bosch...
