I generally feel that it is a parishoner's job to bring people TO Christ, not scare them away. Holding a sign up in someone's face, when you don't even know that person's name, is indifferent and anti-social. I don't think that's what Jesus meant when he said to, "Love everyone." If you make friends with that persone, you have a much better chance of bringing them to Christ, than you do if you hold up a sign, which is quite impersonnal, and most likely ineffective.

I generally feel that it is a parishoner's job to bring people TO Christ, not scare them away. Holding a sign up in someone's face, when you don't even know that person's name, is indifferent and anti-social. I don't think that's what Jesus meant when he said to, "Love everyone." If you make friends with that persone, you have a much better chance of bringing them to Christ, than you do if you hold up a sign, which is quite impersonnal, and most likely ineffective.
