The hit on Cooke. I'm not complaining about that.

I'm referring to Sarich raising his stick, holding it with both hands, and cross checking the incoming Penguin to the face. Perhaps you didn't read my comment thoroughly? Or maybe you have difficulties determining what a body shot and a head shot is? Either way you're forgiven.

look at every hit thats called clean, and youll see an elbow come up after the contact. because raising the elbow is the best way to push your opponent when contacting with the shoulder. its when the elbow is raised before or during contact that makes it dirty. this elbow was down the entire time until well after contact. theres nothing but a clean hit here.

Hypocrisy runs rampant in the NHL, Cooke's a warrior who's been changing his game from one that he's played his whole life. He made it into the NHL as a physical presence when those hits weren't cheap shots, now that they are he's pulled up on players in both the preseason and the first two games this year. To say that he deserves to die for all his hits last year is a bit harsh, all I know is that if Cooke made this hit on anyone he'd be gone until the all-Star break at least.
