I have the Solo HD beats and the Powerbeats for when I'm playing sports -3 I absolutely loveeee them both ! Each beat is really accented and takes you deep into the music (solo HD beats)

I'd say if you wanted to go for balanced in-ear headphones, i'd really recommend the Bose IE2's, as well as the Klipsche Image S4's. In my opinion, they're a bit better than the iBeats and I would pick the S4's or the IE2's over the iBeats any day. The iBeats are pricy because of it's name brand and aren't so good compared to the 2 buds I named earlier. Bottom line is, if you really want the cheapest pair of Monster in-ear's go for the iBeats, but I recommend the S4's and the IE2's.

I call 'em "in ear subwoofers". The bass packs an ENORMOUS punch. And the mids, highs and lows are crisp and clear too, AWESOME earbuds, don't hesitate to get them! Although they do need to "burn in" for a few hours before they sound their best.

@rookie260 i've had the ibeats ,the same he's reviewing . and they broke on me within 1 month .i'm gonna go with the tours this,or next week .cus they really look unique and i hear the sound is a bit better ,, and if you do use the mic and physical buttons for the vol and phone a lot ,"from experience " i can tell you the one on the ibeats are really flimsy and within one week one side, that turns up the vol stopped clicking .the tours look better build

iBeats are very good if you are on a budget, vs. Skullcandys .

Skullcandys are nice and stylish but they break EASILY. I've had Skullcandy Ink', Titans, and Skullcrushers, and they've all broken.

So definitely get iBeats, but if you have a little extra cash get the Tours, more bang for you're buck especially if you're someone who cares about your music.

I think people should wait reviewing the Beats before at least a month has passed, because many people say, that they are not very durable. Like with the iBeats, i heard many say that they can't take more than 3-4 months before causing malfuctions or totally breaking. So i'm pretty skeptical about Beats at the moment.
