sorry I missed your posts a year ago. I didn't see that you had a jack chi that died. I'm so sorry..... I hope you have at least one new wonderful dog in your life. :-)
Thanks for your vid!! I am wondering though, I am picking my Chihuahua/J.R up on Thursday, (cant Wait!!), and I am wondering if the name Jackahuahua, is the real name for it?? Thanks!!
adorable babies! i love...I have three lil chi's less 2- 4 months 1- monts...and TODAY im getting my lil GERMAN SHEPERD...ABOUT three weeks lol..I have no children but I didn't know how you can fall in love with your pets..Sweet video thanks for sharing..German Sheperds are beautiful..oh and another thing..is that you singing..? good vocals. ;]
I have six, but not all were in the video. I have a new longcoat GSD and she is playing with the Jackahuahua right now. I can now make a new video with the reverse....adult jackahuahua with LHGSD pup :-) It's a little different dynamic :-)
He is now almost 1.5 years and he weighs 11 lbs. His sister is a lot lighter and shorter, at 8 lbs. Other related females seem to grow to a smaller size also.
Neat that you have one like this. We love him to pieces. ENJOY her!
one question im wondering because im thinking of adopting a GSD do they do good when the aldults are at work and the kids are aat skool and its just them and the cats at home ?
Like any dog, it depends on the individual dog. Most GSDs do fine with this, especially once past the puppy stage. But be careful in choosing your dog, because some have a harder time with this than others. A young high energy working-type GSD could do some damage without a "job" to do and no one home. Adopting a dog in foster placement would give you a chance to hear how a dog does with this kind of thing and pick one that's mellow that way. They're such great dogs! Have fun!
Thanks! The male is almost 2 and the female is 3. The longhair GSDs seem to mature slowly so Hero is still a big pup...works out great with the little guy.
I've always had standard coat shepherds and they DO shed alot....all the time with the short hairs falling out. I'm real happy that the longhair sheps only "blow their coat" once or twice a year. At that time, you can fill bags with it when you brush them, but the rest of the time they aren't a shedding problem. Much nicer IMHO.
Ya I know what you mean I have a friend with a big dog I forgot what it is called but we brushed her and we filled 3 bages FILLED to the top with hair!
I have a 3 month old Jack/Chi and plan on getting a German Shepherd...I only hope they are as good together as yours are....very cute JackChi btw, nice video
