What a beautiful investment (classic lines) A piece of art that you can drive! Can you please tell me what mods if any you did to the transmission.Can it cope with the extra torque??? And have you had any problems???
As long as you do not shift into 4th gear the 42LE tranny designed for the Prowler will take the extra tork. You also have to keep up with the tranny oil changes. You want to use ATF4 or higher.
its funny how all these shitty little jap cars with 650 to 850hp can't even break the 12sec quarter, a factory stock 1966 corvette 396 can do the quarter in 11.4 sec with ZERO modifications!
plus a 1966 vette 396 is worth over 80 grand today totally restored, how much do you think a friggin honda,toyota,mitsubishi,mazda,subaru,would be worth in 40+ years? about the same as a bucket of snot!
Don't be ridiculous. I can't count the amount of Skylines, Evos, Imprezzas, RX7s, Pulsars and even Civics in the 10s-11s with those power figures. I don't see why any car with 850BHP shouldn't be able to do a 12 second pass.
I cant count the amount of skylines and supras without turbos cause their engines are "sooo great". the hemi is a legend, vtec isnt. hemi was the first engine to exceed 200 mph , and could do laps all day and not have the engine warp at high speeds because it was made of bullet proof steel, and it just sounds mean. a skyline sounds like a cheap ferrari.

Mike had a stock 3.5 liter V6, stock tranny with prowler pro gears, custom headers, Paxton supercharger, and nitrous. He now has a Super Stroker 5.0 V6 that out does this run.
