Don't get me wrong, you can make money delivering pizza but the fact is that it also ruins your car, and when the engine burns up you spend it all back fixing the car. So pizza jobs and Herman Cain are a dead end.

Notice the word "real" was used REPEATEDLY in connection with Cain? The memory / message tools used are based on science. Plus it will go viral and that's free publicity.

It's really not that hard to understand. They're trying to make the argument that reading off a teleprompter, like Obama, is basically reading lines in a movie that has no basis in fact or real life. They're trying to show a parallel between Hollywood fiction and false promises made in campaign rhetoric. They're just choosing a very long, drawn out way to do it which is probably confusing to most people, not to mention that everything going on in the ad detracts from the message.
I had a friend on unemployment who had to show he went on job interviews each week to keep getting his money. He was enjoying the free time, so he would go to the interviews with no shirt on. That would absolutely guarantee they would not hire him, but he was fulfilling his requirement. This is what Cain's doing. He wants the recognition, the speeches, the book deals, but he doesn't want to risk actually getting elected.

I did not miss the televised meeting with the republicans, and I watch c-span and others, but then that is irrelevant to my point. It's really not that hard to understand. They're trying to make the argument that reading off a teleprompter, like Obama, is basically reading lines in a movie that has no basis in fact or real life. They're trying to show a parallel between Hollywood fiction and false promises made in campaign rhetoric. They're just choosing a very long, drawn out way to do it which is probably confusing to most people, not to mention that everything going on in the ad detracts from the message.

I had a friend on unemployment who had to show he went on job interviews each week to keep getting his money. He was enjoying the free time, so he would go to the interviews with no shirt on. That would absolutely guarantee they would not hire him, but he was fulfilling his requirement. This is what Cain's doing. He wants the recognition, the speeches, the book deals, but he doesn't want to risk actually getting elected.
