I have a 1984 CJ-7 with a 258. I'm seriously planning on putting a 360 V8 in. Is it true that it's a drop in without any modifications?

Stock, unless it was replaced by the PO and I don't think it was. It sounds cammed because the timing hasn't been set in this video :)
