I loved all of her videos and songs! She gave you an insight into a close culture that dark-skinned cultures have that is downplayed by the fair skinned. This reminds me when we have a family get together in Louisiana, US and the women cook their best dishes and the men fry fish, shrimp, crawfish and barbeque. Then we "cut the rug" by dancing and laughing and having a good time just being together. Thank you for the great music and dancing Manalemosh Dibo you are missed!
damn, when r we ethiopians be able to stand up and help each other, she begged in every kind of media for help but she still wasnt saved by the so called generous habeshas!! it is very sad!!!!
What?? She died? She was, Manelamosh Dibo, half of my summer soundtrack back in 2005, the other was Teddy Afro. I am an asian dude who was dating an Habesha girl that year. What memories- I learned so much about the Etio culture . That is a sad surprise, her music makes me nostalgic for a place I've never been but wish to visit someday. I played the heck out of this tape but don't understand a word of it. Kerar was my favorite track. Now I miss her too!
She was a legend her voice is so beautiful. Cant believe she died she was so young. MrAbcd257 we are really tired of you go find some somalian songs and plus she is 100% pure Ethiopian
I very feel sorry a death of such a nice singer. She used to be a model for our culture. The other thing that makes it bad is, she died because she is poor and unable to cover her health expense. It is one of the bad day for me.
I am American and English speaking, but I love listening to music of all cultures, especially Manalemosh, can someone tell me what is happening in this video at 6:21- 6:24
It is Ethiopian culture and they are celebrating a holiday. In Ethiopian culture, during a holiday, families get together and eat, dance and have fun. Isn't it beautiful??
I agree. This is on her DVD too, the one with the pink cover, if I remember correctly. It was well worth the $20 my cousin charged me at Merkato in L.A.
RIP Manalemosih u r z best...

@RadioN2GOD , You're right, this is on her DVD, because I own it, too. Such a shame that she had to die so young, may she rest in peace!
