@bugsinrug Hearing crickets all the time seems like it'd be annoying after a while, but I guess I'd prefer it to hearing the voice of the "letsgetreadytoRUMBLE!!!!" guy all day long. Then again, if you hear that guy there's a chance you're actually in a boxing match, so there could at least theoretically be some serious coin involved. Even so (maybe especially so), I'd take the crickets.
@snarkdetriomphe I hate that when it happens too, Snark...I'm even lamer than that; when I pass dead animals someone else hit I feel the need to tell them I'm sorry they got whacked. It makes no sense and changes nothing and I should probably tell them to take it up with the inventors of the Stanley Steamer. But I just say sorry. I'm a nut. :)

sadly i just hit a dragonfly and a chipmunk in my journey to and from the supermarket. hate when that happens.
