Hello, I do agree in what you said, for the record this post was done when the death took place and I am sure I did have lack of information for the time... with this in mind their was a media black out some days later.

The other point is I never had a script upon reporting what I read from another author.

There are alot of supression orders out there so the media cant report on ongoing investigations. If you go through The Age archives, you can very easily come to many links to police corruption and police murdering informants.

Any cases involving corrupt policeman Paul Dale is a good start, he allegedly may be involved because it is highly likely that Carl Williams was suppling police with information, and in return the police would give Carl some 'gifts', eg school fees.

When I read the news about this I was thinking WHAT Carl Williams Dead?

Nobody has told anybody his name the man who beat him... but the other cell mate name only. Place a name to a unknown face.

Carl was able to pick a few people that would share this multi million dollar cell - the man who killed him was one. Channel 9 reported it, the lady who was breaking the story was Alicia Gorey. I was reading that in a MAX prison they where not supervised, but the guard was 10 meters away... and they may have forgot to have the CCTV camera on also in such a MAX security prison.

I bet my American Dollar all 3 in the unit planned to excape and would have not ever been noticed, and better still would have walked out of the jail with a lawn mower going also.

It is good to know in a high security prison camera's are not on.. because it is so safe.
