  • Vada yeh pakka ishq, ishq, dhaga yeh kaccha ishq, ishq

Ishq bina kya jeena yaaro.... absolutely right... sigh...

  • Whaa. Kya lyrics! And tune too! =] ARR is a freaking genius. Proud to be desi.

  • Love this song, even though I am no fan of Bollywood. Great work!

  • @OnlyWay93 There's nothing wrong with how Indians speak; in a country with 20+ official languages, you're bound to mix them together. I personally love the sound of Hindustani as much as pure Hindi or Punjabi or what-have-you. But I agree about the mixing with English. English throws off the flow of the other language and sounds awkward.

  • why do some indian girls say thay likeyou but in the end back out and marry the guy their parents choose? thats the most imp thing i can never understand..why make false promises?

  • @ayaazcyclops

it's a tough spot for them to go against their families and their happiness...the culture teaches you to value your family and to honor them above all... it's a big sacrifice they have to make for their parents and family, who have raised them their whole lives and gave them everything they wanted. It's not always right, but it is what it is, and either way it can work out, you can always find love anywhere, be it with whoever, it is energy and will be reborn in another person :)

  • @taniacarter68 you maybe right...but all what u have said has never changed at all for the girl..she valued her family before she meets the boy and after..she should know all those things..if she was sooo loyal to her family..she should have never started a relationship in the 1st place..that's the shitty problem with girls in india.

  • @ayaazcyclops

yes, but it is really hard to control your heart as well, to not fall in love you know...there's no rule book to life unfortunately..., but you can't blame them though, it's really hard to be a girl in that culture, constantly under pressure with everything dependent on you...and you would rather sacrifice your love rather than be disowned by your family, lose their love, or even worse, sometimes have them commit suicide because of that, it's not always right however...

  • @taniacarter68 ok i agree..BUT what do you think is easier ? Not to engage in premarital relationships or to end a relationship after 1-2 years just because your family puts pressure on you to marry someone of their own choice? I feel it is a lot easier not to do things in the 1st place than ditching someone and ruining their life. This is what indian girls NEED to understand

  • @ayaazcyclops . Yes, they shouldn't put themselves in that spot in the first place, but once again, you can't really plan for life. It's really tempting to have that natural urge to love because so many around you get to experience it and you may wonder why can't I? those cultural families can really manipulate them and force them to chose which is extremely difficult. A lot of times being young you are not thinking about the future and sometimes are hopeful that it may be different for u

  • @ayaazcyclops everyone wants to be loved and they wanted to feel the same but unfortunately that culture is harsh and hard to cope with in that situation so a lot of people get hurt in the end...but that is a part of life..it can't always be happy unfortunately, but if you got to experience true love, I think it is all worth it..love is an energy, it will come back to you in many different shapes and forms so don't think it is lost because it is not...it all works out in the end... :)

  • is the song in hindi or is it another indian language?

im learning hindi, but i dont know the word ishq

  • is the song in hindi or is it another indian language?

im learning hindi, but i dont know the word ishq

  • @firstsupe "Ishq" means love in Arabic. It's sad that Hindi is increasingly infiltrated with Arabic. In some cases, more than 90 percent of the vocabulary in Urdu, which is spoken in modern-day Pakistan, comes from Arabic or from Persian through Arabic. Muslims from the subcontinent have neglected the tongues of their heritage, and now Hindus are following suit, especially in their inability to speak coherent Hindi without plugging in a sentence of English between every word.

  • @OnlyWay93 Mr ishQ''' ishq,Eshq,Eshg's persian word,LOVE in arabic HOUB,urdu comes from arabic,sanskrit,persian,pashtu,turkish ,,

  • @TheBee6x Ishq is an Arabic word. Most of the 'Persian' and 'Turkish' words in Urdu are originally Arabic, and Arabic is truly original. But Urdu is the North Indian grammar with a diverse vocabulary. It doesn't "come from" a bunch of languages.

  • @OnlyWay93 if urdu's not "Guldasta e Zubaan" whats mean URDU ? take your time and google it or wiki it,please.

  • I Like very much....this song........

  • Isn't there anywhere where I can find the HD video for this?

    I love it :)

  • favorite part.. "On earth, is Love; in the Heavens is the Lord, everything else is transitory between Love and God...SAY A HUNDRED THINGS YOU WISH..THE MEANING STILL REMAINS THE SAME!!!" that gave me goosebumps lol

  • who is that pink dressed girl?

she is more prettier and her dance at 7:44 is so cute.......

pink girl really rocks this song...

  • @thecozmicman Her name is Gracy Singh :) She also played the female lead in Laagan.

  • I wish I could fall in love again...and prehaps live in a time where I can share a coke bottle secretively like that. Unfortunately I'm married to a woman unkind. :(

  • @vincevega0

hey dont be so reluctant man, ur married but that doesnt mean u cant fall in love, give ur wife a chance, maybe she could have the love ur lookin for. the love romance and spice ur thinkin off doesnt only be in unmarried couples, u can make it happen if u want, just give it a shot. u can have all that excitemant of relationships wih ur wife, just dont give up.

  • good memories wow

  • cool song!!!!! but i want the translation in romanian!!pls:((

  • I m very lucky,i borm in india.A Rich tradional country, where we see purity in love, unlike western people.

My humble request 2 all indians ,respect ur parents and culture.

  • @picaso4379 All indians ONLY make love stories, its enough, its all about she marries him then he has sex with someone else, lol, grow up already, and why is it, EVERY single indian movie has to have a love story???

  • @romin888 hmmm... yer rite... except for maybe

    anwar

    krrish

    every rajini movie

    sakthi

    heyy babyy

    and about a dozen others

nothing is only "only". there is always leeway, bro...

  • @picaso4379 Pure love in the East? Do arranged marriages have anything common with true love? Is desiring white women while having a wife and children also related to love? Maybe the fact that most pornosites visitors are from the East is also equal to love? Your society is hypocrite: you call depraved people whose way of life you can't understand, and pure - those who just blindly follow traditions. That's why it's so easy for many of you to hide their vicious nature under dupattas, hijabs etc.

  • @voxlibertatis

can Western marriages that end up in divorce at least 50% of time be called love or these marriages that last a lifetime through sacrifice, tolerance, and acceptance be called love? What vicious nature do you speak of? Sacrificing yourself for others such as your family and for their happiness? If that is not the purest and highest form of love, then I do not know what is...Pornography? You mean the one that most of which Western countries produce? Very vicious indeed huh?

  • we do not flaunt ourselves, showing off our bare bodies for lust and approval, or attention from anyone...we chose to veil ourselves and live in modesty, respecting our bodies and our traditions and living simply and purely, happy with our modesty.

  • When im stress i just close my eyes and listen to this song.

  • FRUMOS. FOARTE FRUMOS , PLACUT SI LINISTITOR.

  • @cchango95 actually it isn't translated properly. It means god is most beautiful of all and love is more beautiful than god

  • @lhxperimental yeah only that part is not translated properly, rest other verses are translated really good

  • Too GooD!!

  • Ek nahi, sau baatein karlo.. sau baaton ka, ek matlab hai..

  • tune ishq ka nam suna hain..maine ishq kiya hai....

  • and the verse,,,love is a garden of flowers , love is a bed of thorns......

  • Could have been a coke commercial! :-)

  • @lzgoshert lmfaoo yahh XD

  • @lzgoshert lol!

  • i want indian scientists to clone Ashwari Rai...i want the first copy

  • my hindi/urdu is not perfect but i could swear she says rab sanse sawna means god is beautiful than everthing else and rab se bhi sawna.....ish ishq......which means but love is even more beautiful than god........now i love this song to bits but in my eyes those two lines demean the beauty and poetic ness of this song...shame ..........

  • @Amoresharief I can understand why you'd be upset but these lines need to be understood in the context of Indian poetry- be it of Sufi or Bhakti origin. There is no separation between ishq and God. Rab sab se sona, God is more beautiful than everything. Rab se bhi Sona, It is more beautiful than God. But if there is no separation between God and Ishq- than how can the statement be true? The lines call on the observer to contemplate the relationship between beauty, love and God.

  • @Amoresharief Is it heretical? yes, but in the path towards God there is no difference between heresy and worship. Love, especially love in India- if it is love of another person or love of God, is heretical.

  • LOve is endless,thank you.

  • In taal some of the people are from the movie Josh especially in the song for example aishwarya rai and puneet vashisht and that guy in Josh with the snake pretty much aall the people from the eagle gang

  • Beautiful text and what an amazingly beautiful woman, what a peaceful and beautiful song. MashaAllah, best greets from Germany to you all.

  • yes of course u are right, take a lots of time sometimes to understand people, and from india as well.

by the other side, i was ther in the north and always i saw another intention behinde, i mena u cant just walk in the street without some come to offer u something, and i can understand that, but the problem is that its not enought to say not one time, or 2 times, they dont get it,

and for girls ist worst i guess.

anyway, is very interesting culture .

    cheers

  • the best things of india is the music and the culture...but the people are so stress and make u piss off and just run away of that country. well at least the north of india.

anyway i still like their music.

    nice song

  • @kqkjr - sorry, you feel that way. I think, it is cultural difference. Best example would be if you think of difference in British Vs American culture..I have friends on both side and you will agree with me that both side find it frustrating to deal with each other (to some extend)..

It will take considerable amount of time to understand people, soon you will realize intentions are always good. I am sure, if you spend more time, you will change your opinion.. Hope I am making sense to u :)

  • i love this song! one of my favorite hindi songs.

  • @razorblade42069 These aren't the actual singers. Those are just actors from the movie it was used in.

  • @ zkohsaar

Tum ne naam suna hai, maine ishq kiya hai, I think the line was. This movie came out when I was like, what, 7? xD
