this solo was a result of the tardiness of bud and eric because their tour bus had some technical difficulties..so rather than just sit there and watch a crowd of thousands of people get restless and bored..he grabbed his axe and played songs for a solid hour..and the crowd LOVED it..as any realy sublime/brad nowell fan would. sure that song isnt the hardest to play..but the fact he decided to entertain the crowd just by himself takes guts and incredible sense of musicianship
