  • I had the newer version w/tremelo, and while it sounded great, just remember

it has TWELVE TUBES. When in the 100 watt setting, they generate excessive

heat and can (and will) corrode the ribbon connector FAST! I suggest you

remove the back cover if you plan on gigging with it. I sold mine after 2 months and went with the new series III Hot Rod w/4/10's.

    Glad I did!

  • fernando - I have this amp. If you only play clean or low gain - this is a very good tube sound and gives so much sustain you don't even need reverb in most applications. At mid level or high gain, both the preamp distortion and the speakers are distinctly fender sound (fenders are NOT noted for their distortion) There are more versatile options out there.

Do your research. There are so many resources available now, take advantage.

  • 1994 - this one doesn't have tremolo

  • Hi, great tone. I love this amp and one day i'll buy one this, but I'am curious. Your amp don't to resemble with "Fender Pro Tube Twin Amp" showed on Fender site in "fender point com / products / search.php ?partno=0215700000".

The Twin Amp have: 4 knobs on Clean Channel 5 knobs on Drive Channel 4 knows at right side: Reverb, Speed, Intensity and presence. Footswitch of 4 stomps: Channel select, Loop on/off, Reverb, Tremulo.

What is the year of manufactory of your Twin Amp?
