Farnborough Air Show 2008. Vulcan landing

Fucking airshow, traffic is crap due to the police blocking roads off, rushmoor borough council say its good for the area and helps keep council tax down, well thats bollocks, council tax same as the rest of the country, i wouldn't mind if farnborough residents got free tickets for all the noise and aggravation we have to go through but no only certain people in certain roads get erm, oh yeah the joy of replacing broken roof tiles cos the whole house shakes, airshow no 21 coming up for me.

When i was there I was having a nice drink indoors until a loud thundering noise came from outside. I thought a plane crashed, but it was the Vulcan

also got to see it on monday, it flew over my home, quite low, and loud. my house is on the outskirts of Farnham so i see quite alot fly to and from Farnbrough.

Farnbrough was awesome this year. the red arrows were sweet.

that USAF B-1b was so loud and big!

Yes, the only Vulcan still flying... last flew in 1992 I beleive, before restoration this year.

the new giant airbus was very impressive also, they all were really.brave skilled men.all of them.

hows does a huge plane like that allmost stop in midair then climb so high ?. amazing and so quiet.

I was at the air show today, and was right down by the runway. When that plane took off it flippin' shook the ground, and it was exceedingly loud.
