it took me 15 minuets to do that puzzle with the statue and i did it the hard way i tried to beat the gate and i had to put the statue under the gate then roll under and grab it from the other side, hint: for the future always read the text that pops up, cause i missed how to kick the statue

The colossus already existed as a monument in the city of Rhodes, but Zeus brings it to life when he lands on it in the opening cutscene.

I wouldn't say Zeus is helping you defeat the colossus... the sword he throws down drains your power, then Zeus kicks the shit out of you. It's all a ploy by a douchebag god really.
