To me, this bossfight is the hardest in the entire game. You have a lvl 1 Dragon Sword (limited moves), no Ninpo and limited health power ups (depends on how much you suck before this battle). The second fight with Murai is okay, I died a few times at first, but it's not as hard overall than this one. Also you propably have mastered the gameplay by then. Kinda sucks when you feel like you can't even beat the first boss in the game, aaargh!

I was stuck here too when i first played it.

Easiest way is to keep running up the walls and press Y to slash Murai.

Roll around to avoid him and get to the wall, jump and slash him, keep doing this and you will beat him.

I'll settle the argument: You are all idiots. Consoles don't matter, games do. It doesn't matter wether a system can handle models with 300000 polygons or 350000 polygons, It's all about how the game designers optimise their games graphically and the artistic style.

I had taken a hiatus from NG and oh boy was I in for one hell of a surprise after I started playing it again. With that said, NG is hard for new players to get into but once you do you can't stop. This game is truly a test of skill, patience, and reflexes.
