Smoking does NOT kill taste buds. I can still taste my chocolat milk, my soda, my vodka, my steak, my peanut butter and jelly sandwhich, etc. And if a restaraunt has a seperate smoking section, closed off and complete with its own ventilation, what's the problem? You're not smelling or breathing my smoke, and I'm not listening to non-smokers complain! Its a win-win situation. Finally, how does a "careless smoker" burn down a burger king? Most restaraunts have TILE FLOORS and metal seats.

@MeanderingBeing In May they are going to Ban Smoking in Michigan. More then 82% of Michiganders do not smoke. The restaurants and bars that banned smoking last year, before they were forced to by law, are packed full of non smokers. Food will tast alot better when you quit smoking. I quit in 1985. I smoked 3 packs a day back then.

Food already tastes good... then again, I smoke 5 cigs a day and have been for three years... I guess when you're smoking 3 packs, things tend to be a bit different. :P
