wait, 840 million was the HIGHEST score?? I have gotten over 1.5 billion on one ball! Though i have never played it on tournament mode, my highest score ever on World Cup Soccer was 6.2 billion...but that was on 5 ball and I got 2 extra balls that game I'd say by the end of my 3rd actual ball, I was at 2.9 billion....but to be fair, the last two balls were duds that drained fast...not impressed with those scores for who should be the world's best....

@aegisofhonor dude.. i was there.. i am the guy with the black cap..at 2:58 on WhiteWater.. my name is Roy Wils.. and ended up FIRST during qualifications during PAPA.. and i can tell you THAT particular World Cup Soccer game over there was a true Biatch to play.. the right outlane sucks your balls almost immediatly and the white little lightnin flippers on it.. doesnt help you too to let you flip a lot.. this game was setting up way too hard... and his game of 300M + was indeed not that bad..

@Toxici yeah, well, I gotta admit, some years back I got a lot of practice on the game, and the game can be very brutal at times; for every billion game I'd have 3 sub 500 mil games. You ever see anyone named Robert Johnson (pinball initials RWJ) at PAPA? He went to college here at SIU and he was REALLY good at pinball, he once scored of 5.5 billion on the Twilight Zone and basically dominated highest scores on all pins around here back when he was around; haven't seen him in 15 years.

I never understood one thing about pinball machines. Those areas to the sides of the flippers which the ball can just randomly fall through and you lose. What's the deal with those?

@hampus745 They're called outlanes. Keeping the ball away from them or activating ball saves and kickers is part of skilled play. The better you are at activating these features, making good shots (so the ball doesn't bounce around off posts and what not), and nudging the table, the more likely you are to avoid losing a ball through the outlanes.

Some tables though, don't have ball saves or kickers, so outlane drains are more common.
