  • Hey thanks for that yeah i know from lot of vids about the item the only problem is with mine since walmart didn't do anythig for me nor the manufactor note to all get the extend warrenty you regreat it later so I took my tv over to best buy they evaluated it for me turned out my TV I would be paying more then what my tv was accutally worth OMG!! So there was more then just the one part going on in my TV AHHH!! so yeah $500.00 dollars blown out the window T.T tho I did get a new tv XD

  • @MeliSpirit : Hey Meli, mine broke down 3 times since I've had it (about 3 years now). So last time, I was tired of bringing the TV to the shop Samsung recommends. After watching a few videos on the same issue on Youtube and reading some comments, I told myself I should try changing the capacitors for some higher quality and Rh or Rf ones like most of the ppl suggest. So I did, I went and purchased all the tools and capacitors, got everything for about 30$ and followed the instructions.

  • @MeliSpirit : .... since I've repaired it myself, no issues, started working right away and it seems to work like a charm. you see the light flashes now 5 times instead of 3, so I guess it can pack more power or something... I'm not an expert but I managed to fix it and I was very happy with myself. So I suggest you give it a try if you are out of warranty, before spending 150$ on a repair... Let me know how it works out for you. Peace!

  • @drew7721 @drew7721 I really hope that you get this message I have the clicking issue when my tv is trying to turn on & it does it over and over I have been told by a repair man that it is the capacitiors &he said it would be $150. I have a friend who is able to fix this for me but I don't know what kind of capacitiors to buy or where to buy them. Can you please tell me there you got your capacitiors and what kind to buy? THANK YOU SO SO MUCH! I look forward to hearing from you.~ Mrs. Willis

  • @davidandkaytywillis Hi, I guess it all depends where you are. I'm from Montreal, so here there is this small electronics shop called AddTronique that sells all kinds of little electrical tools and stuff to fix stuff... But I'm sure a place like FutureShop or any electronics sore might have it. Maybe a google search from your are might get you the needed results. I would like to do more... Hope this helps!

  • i have a vizio lcd 720p 60hz for over 4 year now, 600 cheaper than samsung back than with same size and spec. and till this day, it work great. and it was used for gaming, ps3 and xbox like 8 hour a day 7 day a week.

  • i got the same problem. those lights are just blinking but the lcd wont turn on. so i read the manual and it said in there that i have to change lamp. so i ordered a lamp from samsung and changed it and yeah it works but within 10secs it goes off by itself! damn samsung!

  • i feel your pain

  • have the same problem, did you fix yours?

  • @selektajahmaica yeah, happened to me for the second time about one month ago, called samsung and they told me they now know the issue and that they offer free repair if the faulty manufacture part is the problem with your tv (in 99,9 % cases where the simptoms are same as me it is fixed at their charge) . Just call samsung and they will give you the closesd TV repair shop to your house that they are associated with and you can go leave your tv 4 repair. They usually do a good job......

  • @drew7721 did they tell you what was wrong with it

  • @selektajahmaica ....... but I got this repair CO next to me that fixed my tv the 2nd time around and they gave me back the TV without screwing any of the screws in the back of the TV. Front-half of the Tv almost fell off once I had it mounted on the wall... so be carefull... inscept well before taking your TV out of the repair shop !!! Good luck! Drew

  • @drew7721 nice one! thanks a lot for the reply!

  • @drew7721 nice one! thanks a lot for the fast reply!

  • @drew7721...I have had the same problem happened to me a couple weeks ago.

I just had an engineer examine it earlier. Inside there was no damaged done to any capacitors; however the internal p/s and pcb couldn't be replaced because Samsung no longer stock these parts. G-G-Groan! :-(

  • @selektajahmaica I had a similar problem with my Samsung 32" series 3 LCD. It wouldn't turn on one day. I didn't hear any clicking noises but the red light on the front would blink. I unplugged it and left it unplugged for a day. Plugged it back at the end of the day and it worked. So far it hasn't had any more issues yet.

  • I called samsung and they put me in contact with the closest TV repair shop around me, I brought the TV there and it got fixed at samsungs expense. ( I was still under warranty). I think he changed the frimware version... from what I can see. If you can manage to turn the tv on, contact samsung for the latest version so that you update your software. There is a problem when TV is hooked to PC and it goes in sleep mode.

let me know how this turns out for you.
