I wasnt born in US so I literally dont care who becomes president of US but this guy Ron Paul just deserves to be one. If I can I am gonna vote for him
Some of the worst dictators are in the Banking world, not politics. Hitler proved you can change that with elections. he's got elected democratically in Germany, people seem to forget it. He wanted the scum out of the Bankers world, and ended up in a world war, he could not win. That's Rotschildt's dictatorship. All based on massive lies, and deception.
"You don't need an International Government for an International Gold Standard." RP.
That's right! The gold standard should be private and traded at four decimal points in grams of four nine's fine gold, and traded electronically. We have actually done this in the near past, but the U.S. Government confiscated the gold. The owner, Douglas Jackson, was warned, but didn't heed those warnings, and the pathway is clear that it cannot be in the United States. The oligarchy here simply will not . .
ron paul doesn't believe in evolution! He doesn't believe in human-caused climate change either! So why does he reject science? It's because its conclusions conflict with his out-of-touch philosophy. Sorry but there's no credible doubt among those that actively study climate change; we humans are warming the planet and the consequences are not good. Why not pass a MORE healthy environment to our future generations?
What is all the nonsense about the money system ca not be fixed. When the FED was creat4ed it violated the Constitution, giving bankers control of the USA money. When we stopped the Gold Standard, it finished our money as it was not based on precious metals. So the value of money is set by bankers. Congress was supposed to set the value of our money. They don't want to fix anything, just to create another system to loot.
The monetary serfdom of immense humanity to an outdated, dehumanising, destructive MARKET SYSTEM OF ARTIFICIAL SCARCITY is the template of the suffering of our common humanity . Divinity is SHARING OUR PLANET FOR OUR COMMMON NEEDS AND WELL BEING in harmony within and without. All metaphysical, piecemeal tinkering with COMMODITIFICATION of our energies is doomed to failure . CAPITALISM no matter what flavour is abomination of our common humanit
The federal reserve act was written by private bankers, not the Government. It doesn't comply with Constitutional law, and therefore is ILLEGAL. It should be abolished by the Supreme Court so that the US Department of Treasury itself handles our money. I will NEVER pay income tax. If they take me to court, I will inevitably WIN. Until the day that Federal Reserve Notes once again become United States Notes, I am ON STRIKE against the Federal Reserve & IRS.
'This is a difficult problem..'. Is it? They didn't only see it coming, they CREATED this misery!! It's all going as planned. Nothing happened by accident or chance. They are not only removing the middle-man but also the little man, They disapear, the 'big guy's' take over. That's what's happening, that was the goal. Glo-ba-li-sa-tion!! The solution? International monetary system. One central bank. Centralized power. Who controles the money, controles the world. Almost there....
A meteor will hit offshore New York City (Babylon NWO ) about 500 miles in 2011 or b4-tidal waves 1000ft high and roaring 1100 mi inland! METEOR will destroy 1/3 of sea life and the rivers, destruction of theTwin Towers is in Isaiah 30:25 and rev 18:10- Tower #1went down in 1 hour (56min)
Single point of failure and fault tolerance system but competitions must be implemented on abstract levels. Leaderships must be spread and with quad core implementation and dual core verification. We need that invention so nobody can keep our blind sight in the dark with new stuffs but efficiency are always in improvement mode. Get money pools layered up instead of centralized so mistakes become harder to transmit themselves repeatedly. Automated electronic and printed money verify each other.
All day tomorrow Monday April 27 everyone should call as many members of the House of Representatives and urge them to vote for HR 1207 to Audit the Federal Reserve Bank. The toll-free number is 1-877-851-6437 and the switch board operator will direct your call to any Representative. It does not matter if a Rep. is outside your district call every member of the House and tell them the Federal Reserve is a private banking cartel that must be investigated. They are going to rob us via inflation.
I am not fooled by the media. Most people my age are tools that voted for Obama. Typical of America (blinded). I tried to spread the word of Ron Paul and the NWO, it was hard, they weren't listening. But I keep trying as much as I can. Ron Paul is a true hero and American president.
True they made it so if you try and expose the truth, you may appear as insane. It sucks but more and more people are begining to finaly open their eyes to what is going on! Kepp it up Bro, the revolution has begun!! -TX
dear people of Asia, don;t let the globalist tell you that you have to merge to survive because you will have fallen in the globalists trap. wake up people the world economies crisis was done on purpose by the world banks and it's been predicted for 6 to 7 years by Alex Jones and he knew this was going to happen. he did try and warn us, people Google video "endgame" and "the Obama Deception before it's too late. our democracy is in danger
Obviously, option 3 is impossible. So, we are left with deflation and inflation.
So, what do you want Dr. Paul? DEFLATION? Seriously?
Why would anyone lend money without interest? Jefferson borrowed money from european creditors for INTEREST, and he purchased the Louisiana territory. WITH DEBT.
"SOUND MONEY" = Gold Standard =MASSIVE DEFLATION = DEPRESSION =
I voted for Ron Paul. But, seriously, do you people want the money supply controlled by the politicians? Like Zimbabwe?
The problem we have now had almost nothing to do with the Fed. If the Fed matched the economic output PERFECTLY we would STILL have this problem because of the wall street ponzi scheme, which is absolute fraud.
Ron Paul is a true patriot! Pretty much all those other 'Government leaders' are elitists pricks who are mad for power and money. Americans, before you vote learn about 'who' you are voting for! If you aren't paying attention to who the candidates are, their history, and exactly what they stand for then you are letting yourself, your children, and your fellow Americans down; you are selling them down the river.
Does anyone know where all the gold went from under WTC 5, please? I haven't heard if Nova Scotia ever got any of it back, but I did see the Brinks trucks driving over the bridge away from lower Manhattan that horrible day.
Anyone know?
I would LOVE to hear if anyone is bothering to find out who placed all those put options on Am Airlines and United Airlines, and if they have been cashed in yet. Couldn't have all gone to Buzzy and Cookie(?), could it have?
GET UR GUNS READY buy ammos they wants to inflates them RETURN TO THE LAND try to eat for free there's enough ressources for everybody .UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE SYSTEM IS A NECESSITY so is our right to information and to own a home, .We have work and studies to do. BRING BACK OUR TROOPS NOW.THEY WILL PROTECT U.S. AGAINST THE GOUVERNEMENT THAT RUINED THAT ONCE GREAT INDUSTRIAL POWER. LETS GET THE TRAITORS AND THE THIEFS OUT OF THIS COUNTRY.STICK TO THE CONSTITUTION of our founding fathers and breed
I hate fo tell you this.i was watching the histery channel on the depresstion and FDR it blow me away.If you had gold and did not report it and got cought , you could serve a20 year jial sentence for not turning it in to the U/s. Gov. and as far as i know these days gold is recorded unless you buy it in under ground.. From K.C.
Bailout funds are taxpayers money more so. If the the corporations uses some this money for the purpose of using third party lobbyists to donate funds into congressmens campaign funds. Could be the worst case of fraud in US history.
Please, Water is more important than all curencies combined. We can surive without paper and gold, what we cannot survive with a s human beings, is water and food.
I never said water should be used as currency, that is a dumb idea, but in the long run, and i will say ti again
WATER IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANY CURRENCY IN THE WORLD.
Well yes, and as well, water has nothing to do with the subject at hand. That's the point. Food isn't a currency, food is more important than currency. Now, back to the subject at hand, please.
Going even further incidentally, if we were all prehistoric hunter-gatherers wearing loincloths, picking berries, and suffering through a drought, I would support the "use water as your currency" nonsense. If you bring me a tall glass of water from the other tribe, I'll give you an onion. Did they have onions back then? And that's my point. We've evolved, so we need the dollar. Let's stand up and protect our dollars, let's protect our granchildren, let's protect our country. Let's WAKE UP.
Incidentally, the same thing that makes water such a miserable medium of exchange is the same thing that makes gold such a masterful medium of exchange. That isn't just an incidental point, that is THE take home message to understand here.
Honestly, I say to you all, I don't know why I'm even wasting my time arguing with someone that water is not a currency. People who drink or pour dangerous BS kool aid like that need to be ignored.
Because your money is (still) valuable people! Stand up for it, before your government completes its deliberate slow death of our money.
We need to rise up and not let our government get away with this.
What we need is competing currencies having different standards...not a monopolized currency irrespective of what it is based on...hell, it would be sweet to have a water-based currency!
Water evaporates, that's the worst standard for a currency imaginable. Gold is the most resistant metal to oxidation there is, that's why it looks beautiful throughout our lifetimes with a minimum of cleaning, and aesthetically it's beautiful. And the US has a lot of it. So there are many reasons why gold is superior and some of those reasons are scientific.
Currency is a medium of exchange, and water is no currency. Good grief wake up. You can't use water as a medium of exchange between things of value because it evaporates!
Show me where people are (or were, EVER) using water to trade one thing for the other. The idea is utter foolish nonsense.
your an idiot, read my post, i never said water should be used as currency, what i meant is that water is more important to human beings than any currency in the world. Can you drink cash my friend, didnt fucking think so. Before you get all high and mighty on yourself bud, read my post.
Again, we don't need to pick a winner - the market will. All we need to do is abolish the legal tender laws that forces us to use a monopolized fiat currency, the federal reserve dollar.
They are really pushing for the "New World Order."
Bankers "The Elite/Illuminati run the world." This destruction of the dollar is no accident. When the dollar fails soon they will bring in a new currency "The Amero" and then from there the US, Canada, and Mexico will form "The North American Union." ........ Bush has already signed this bill without the approval of anybody!
consuming by itself is not a bad thing...consuming beyond one's means by borrowing heavily...and relying on a monopolized Federal Reserve currency, allowing them to print money out of thin air - those are the real problems
the election of Obama over Ron Paul IMO sends the message that the American public, as with most countries, would rather feel "hope" than really be free. He tells the painful truth we don't want to hear and so we rejected him in favor of a cowardly snake-oil salesman with no business being anywhere near the White House
Ron Paul blames the poor, the so called welfare State for our problems which are in fact caused by the Israeli fifth column and Jewish controlled press.Ron Paul doesn't mention the war profiteers and he doesn't mention the fact that the bankers are causing inflation, not the poor. He doesn't demand that we go after the war profiteers and the bankers, but instead wants to cut off the poor and scapegoat them for the woes of the World.
Ron Paul has spoken out against war profiteering many times. The welfare state IS to blame for the inadequacies of the welfare state, NOT the poor. Taking (by force) wealth from once part of society and redistributing it to another is impracticable by its nature and should be rejected. Welfare doesn't even serve the real interests of the poor because it makes them 100% dependent on the government. He never once claims that the poor cause inflation that is entirely a faculty error on your part.
i have no qualms kicking the ass of the rich and megarich snobs for the wealth they garnered wrongly and distributing/subsidizing to the underpriveliged class on a condition of work.
Better idea. How about striving to have a social system were you keep the wealth YOU generated and you don't get access to the wealth of other unless THEY consent to trade with you. Even if they are rich.
If you are so against the system as is. How exactly would you like humans to interact with each other? I hear a lot of talk about how bad everything is. Any solutions? Or is that not part of your methodology?
you're a complete fool who has deliberately misrepresented my position. if a the rich and mega rich are taxed for the benefit of the poor, hungry, innocent and underpriveliged there is no moral objection a sane man could have. how about some christian charity.
The man has forthcalled it, been loughed at, ignored etc. for over 30 years. He planted a good seed in his campaign this time and when we start to feel the problems directly to our pockets (when dollar is running aways in inflation) We as Americans will restart.
One of Ron Paul's consistent lies is that our monetary system creates inflation of necessity. Paul doesn't state the fact that the same Federal Reserve System could as easily contract the money supply and cause deflation as it increases the money supply and causes inflation. He doesn't discuss lack of personal savings, which be needed to provide purchasing power as the economy tanks, and the fact that rich do not pay their fair share of taxes, but instead pass the tax burden to the middle class
No it can't do that. A deflationary trend would destroy the dollars purchasing power at once. A fractional reserve system has to expand credit exponentially to keep the money "owed" from catching up to newly created money in the system. You are acting like the fiat is tied to a stable commodity that it can deflate and inflate against. Its based on debt and only more debt can retain its value. Ironically this destroys its value as well. Stop blaming one faction and look at the system as a whole.
The deliberate lie that a gold standard inhibits overspending is a myth spread by many agents of the banksters. It is an obvious absurdity on its face, just as the claim that a credit holder's ability to pay his debts is an absolute bar to overspending. A credit card holder can run up unpayable debts, like a government. When such overspending creates unpayable debts, all a gold standard does is increased profits for gold holders and the ability of the bankers to bleed off more American wealth.
how exactly does a government "overspend" when their is only so much gold in existence? Please tell me how. You make big claims, but all I hear is fluff.
a typical mindless ron paul supporter writes me a stupid mindless letter. he argues that govt cant overspend. what nnonsense. how does a creditholder overspends without having any money.
Because the credit that they print is not backed by any commodity and thus can be expanded infinitely with NO LIMIT. I didn't ask you to avoid the question, why don't you answer it?
Explain yourself
How could the government overspend when all trade was tied to gold or other such commodity? How would they get the gold to spend. No paper or electronic credit would be possible.
what nonsense is this loonie talking. which question did i avoid. i answered that most gold supply is controlled by these zionist minions banksters. so please understand they can be inflated and deflated at will.
a very funny question indeed. if the price of a gold ounce is 1000$, it can be manipulated by the people who control the gold supply and can be increased or decreased. you could find your gold backed currency values falling if they decide to depreciate the price. second sometimes in time of war or in cases of outstanding public projects work being completed such flexibility as the fiat system provides is crucial for the sucess of these schemes.
Gold standard means coins of gold you moron, no currency. NO fractional reserve system. The government issues GOLD COINS and has a system of weights and measures. If a bank wants to issues ten paper notes for every once ounce of gold they hold, then they gold to jail for fraud. As they should. Public works DESTROY JOBS they don't create them, because they direct capitol from profitable business and then waste them. You are a idiot fascist pig. Your such a pathetic looter tool.
in america the boob hatcheries that you pigs call school produce morons, lying imbeciles and zionist gold agents. a fool like you cant understand that as long gold is a scarce commodity and more than 90% owned by these banksters they will not produce any significant change.
yes the gold standard is not great, but it can't be controlled, it is a good solution to the problem now, but it won't be for ever. But it will be relevant, for the situation at the time being, but resource based should be introduced soon.
you gutless swine refused to answer my early charges that ron pinpaul close relations to zionist gold agents and also to ludwig mises who was a globalist that want to create a pan american union which was the blue print for NAFTA. have the guts to answer that or you lost the argument.
hitler brilliantly avoided the stranglehold of the international bankers by issuing currency on the work bills and receipts. in other words his currency was backed by the productiveness of the german people not on the gold supply of tese parasitic vultures.
Nazi Germany was funded by US corporations that cut off funding at the end of the thirties (for good reason) effectively putting a strangle hold on the empire, then the Russians took care the rest, the USA brilliantly entered the conflict after most of the fighting was done and claimed half of Europe.
Brilliant my ass. That Nazi Ponzi scheme was terrible and you know it. All military industrial governments are doomed because warfare retards human progress and is NOT PROFITABLE.
several works by american free press has destroyed the worn out myth that hitler was a tool of the bankers. this is plain nonsense. david irving's brilliant work of revisionism has clearly shown the role of prescott bush funding hitler to be exagerrated and it to be fallacy
Ron Paul is closely tied to Ludwig von Mises who in turn closely tied to the Jewish supremacist and organizer of World Government, Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi. Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi promoted the idea of a European Union and a pan-American Union. he is a member of a texas masonic lodge ,his wife a rainbow girl and his daughters lori and joy are eastern stars. this guy may not be a fraud but certainly there is possibility he will be manipulated by these secret forces.
Ron Paul is closely tied to the late Ludwig von Mises through his ideas and the institute which bears his name. Ludwig von Mises was in turn closely tied to the Jewish supremacist and organizer of World Government, Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi. Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi promoted the idea of a European Union and a pan-American Union
The Federal Reserve had power for less than 20 years before the Great Depression. End the Fed, re-instate the constitution (It got thrown out the window in the 20th century). These so called Free-Trade Agreements, only ship manufacturing out to other nations rather than promote free trade. We are a nation of consumers and will have more people working in local, sate and federal gvmt rather than manufacturing. The Federal Act is unconstitutional.
If anything Ron Paul's platform is very pro-minority. RP would end the "war on drugs" for it is heavily biased against blacks. Only 18% of whites charged are convicted and incarcerated whereas 63% of blacks are. Freedom, sound money, Constitutional principles, balanced budgets, smaller government, and all that RP stands for brings true equal rights and applies to all races, religions, genders, etc.
what happens when half the country is relying on public assistance? Are they going to tax welfare to pay for more welfare? Who's going to work if you don't have to? Go back to school and take economics 101. I work hard, I don't take anything from anybody, so why should I be taxed more to help people who want to be lazy and taken care of? I shouldn't, but I haven't a choice. YAY!
Paul wants to create private gold banks, which obviously will be international and become the centralized entirely private Jewish controlled World bank Paul's bosses seek to institute as a mechanism of World control. This new Jewish monopoly on banking and gold will give World Jewry even greater control over money and it will be entirely detached from any country's government. This is the ultimate privatization of money creation and money supply which International Jewry has always sought
That is a terrible distortion of facts, and Ron Paul doesn't want a private bank he wants the USA government to coin its own gold standard to keep money manipulation to a minimum. That way the market can react to this situation more naturally. I doubt "jews" would have any real influence in the system one way or another. Not any more than any other faction. Cornering the gold market has historically failed for many reasons.
"The gold standard isn't perfect, but paper is just insane" -Ron Paul
thats a load of malarkey. the brilliant documentary " MONEY MASTERS" you can view on the google makes the case about the perils of an asset backed currency which is scarce and is controlled by rothschilds and oppenheimer. such manipulation has happened n ancient times and responsible for poverty and wars. it is the private control and issuance of money as debt and not fiat money.

Ron Paul is a libertarian blow-hard. He does not have any ideas that will have positive long term effects. Like all you rich anarchists, you are selfish and do not care about those who need government assistance. Spend your time and money on causes for people who really need help like the financially broke and the various groups being discriminated against in the United States. If not, then play Russian Roulette with a glock pistol. It could penetrate your thick skulls.
Government is never a force for good, you should know that. When people become dependent on government they throw away their liberty and their choice to work. When government inevitably grows, they, along with everyone else loose more liberty and become a pressure for more tax which is bad for everyone.
First of all, you can't play Russian Roulette with a Glock because a Glock isn't a revolver. -5 fail points to you.
People like Ron Paul who follow the Austrian School of Economics have predicted most of the economic failures of the 20th and 21st centuries, so I'm pretty sure know EXACTLY what they're talking about in regards to positive and negative long-term effects. -10 more fail points to you.
when a government assumes responsibility for those who cant provide for themselves, they by proxy have the discretion to control everything you own, even your life. If you want me to explain this further, ask me.
I'm not rich, and you are prejudiced and you cannot eat money.
"A government that is big enough to give you everything you want, is powerful enough to take everything you have."
Are you nuts?! I'm a divorced mother. I raised my son alone! I worked, paid his medical, and NEVER GOT ANY KIND of public assistance!!! What makes YOU special that YOU dont have to get a job and take care of yourself? Why do struggling mothers have to break their backs to TAKE CARE OF YOUR LAZY BEHIND?!?!?!?!?!
See people couldn't get people to do the "right" thing - buy products good for them- It's not about Quality , it's a Quantity Culture- so then why should the small business only choose a product line that benefits, when Superstore over there is selling toxic candles by the dozen at a lower price- this guys gotta be selling something- only an idiot would think this gonna end any other way than bad
built too much too fast on either blood or greed fueled by ego and not enough foundation . You want democracy and freedom , when a more social order would be a solution- doesn't have to be forever -
but who in the hells gonna give everything while ass wholes just take- you'd be a fool
TAKE YOUR POLICE FORCE- and go take it from nice lil 10 billion dollar Pharma. Corp. -THE PUBLIC GAVE ENOUGH- It's not about ONE for all anymore- it's should now be ALL 4 ONE-
Is he running for office? cause this the same stuff that was being sold - I mean all you need to do to be American today is hate Russia and not sell weapons to Muslims and bam! You're American- theres no definition of American running on my tv- anyone seen the youtube vid on Cairo? thats what a failed economy looks like - it's not pretty, it's living in ruins-

I've heard this type of thing before, but he's asking the poor to flip the bill while people-elect are running an American Garage sale- this place is a security agency for hire who jails it's voices and promotes Dog eat Dog - Get Money Money Culture-and media that fills the public with junk-reality tv.
I come on-what exactly is he asking?for the lower an middle class to say "fuck money" while the Baby Boomers are gettin screwed in retirement and you've just charged 55,000 dollars to graduate?
well said ron, always know where you stand, always most cogent arguements, obama style but no substance...follow rons lead scrap paper money introduce system of credits, these credits can be worth more if used for consumables than for savings thereby giving people incentives to spend, tax cuts and borrowing will not!

this man is a lier. dont believe him. he will lie straight to your face. trust obama. trust him because he wont show hes a natural born citizen. trust obama because he hangs out with terrorist. trust obama cause he sat watching mr. wright preaching god damn america for 20 years/
"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them (around the banks), will deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."
The existence of stock and commodity exchanges means that free market principles still dictate the formation of capital in the US.
The problem that Ron Paul is talking about is the manipulation of the capital free market because of huge monopolistic banking interests that collude with the government through their massive investment resources.
The market itself is free, but its very nature makes it prone to monopolies, any monopoly.
I'd like to hear Ron Paul's views on were government should not be involved. It would be insane, and has proven to be insane, to allow free markets to decide everything.
Left to its own devices manufacturers will put lead in sweets, or industrial chemicals in milk products for instance. Someone needs to regulate these things, and that someone has to be a government department, and someone has to pay for that, and that someone is the taxpayer.
First of all, we dont have a freemarket. We have a centrally planned socialistic economy with a mask of freemarkets. In a true freemarket, manufacturers would not put lead in sweets because when the news broke theyd be out of business. Of course regulation will always be there and we have plenty of it. But we are about to see what happens when the government gets in the way of the market place and its not going to be good.
I beg to differ, capitalism is into short term gains, lead in sweets or mercury in drinking water are of no consequence compared to the large wage, bonus or share dividend. That's just the way humanity is I'm afraid.
Part of the problem with the banks, apart from the social engineering, which I will concede was the root of the problem, is that the bonus culture exacerbated the problem, the manager who earned $20,000,000 dollars last year gets to keep it, while the bank goes to the wall.
Exactly, and in a true freemarket that manager would have lost everything. Its the government intervening that allowed these CEO's to keep their special packages and walk away from their dieing companys. Neither one of us have ever lived in a true capitalist society. And capitalism doesnt work at all when you mix and blend it with socialism. So its hard to say that capitalism is terrible when we havent had it yet.
Who's going to take it away from him. Wait I know, he broke the law, the law would need to be enforced, and who's going to enforce it. Well the state of course, and who's going to pay for the police, jails and judges, well the tax payer of course. So capitalism is fine, but you need a regulatory framework, or capitalism is like communism, sheer hell on earth.
I think you should distinguish between "free market", as in letting supply and demand determine prices, as opposed to the system of government permits and licenses to protect safety of the public.
Permits and licenses in a regulatory framework implies that an action might pose a danger to the public, that's why we apply for a driver's license so that the government can reasonably conclude that we won't plow down and kill pedestrians when we drive.
"So what should the government do? Eliminate those policies that generated the current mess. This means, at a general level, abandoning the goal of home ownership independent of ability to pay. This means, in particular, getting rid of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, along with policies like the Community Reinvestment Act that pressure banks into subprime lending."
~ Jeffrey A. Miron - senior lecturer in economics at Harvard University.
We are at the non-sustainability point of Democracy!
Pattern that put the banking Mafia in Charge: Community Reinf Act, its enhancement in 95 under Clinton; ending the 1933 Glass-Steagall Act; Sarbanes-Oxley Act of July 2002; lifting of leveraging rules; TARP; elimination of the Uptict Rules; FED now rules commodity market = electronic counterfeiting of commodities (ending of 5th Amnd constitution of title):
Yes. Herbert Hoover was the president. Edgar was the notorious head of the FBI.
I really can't take a guy seriously if his nom de guerre is an insult, "RPHB". You go play in your corner with your crypto-fascist conspiracy while the rest of us try to build a better world.
I totally agree. I believe he has something valuable to say about the machinations of big banking interests, and its relationship with the Federal Reserve.
But most importantly, he comes across as an earnest, dedicated, principled, honest man -- leadership qualities that make him ideal in curbing the excesses of large, powerful corporate concerns.
Why doesn't he start a third party? Americans would flock to him if they could hear his voice above the catcalls. There's not been a more opportune moment to create a viable third party than right now. Finally put the corrupted Republican party out of business. They'll never return to their roots. And then the reform of the corrupted Democrats could begin as well. Mr. Paul, take up the gauntlet. There's millions of us waiting to join you! Even true Republicans may jump ship with you, as well.

While I agree with most of what Ron Paul says, to stick to a single economic framework -- the Austrian school -- is just plain wrong. You guys ought to read up on Edgar Hoover and the Great Depression -- your prescriptions would bring us back to the government structures and policies as practiced during that era.
How do you know? You would have to have learned all about Austrian Economics before you could make such a statement. Have you? If so, then you would know that Edgar Hoover and the Great Depression had nothing to do with Austrian Economics. Austrian Economics can be reduced to one simple idea: if the government meddles in the economy, there will be problems. More interference means more problems. It would be ridiculous (and simply wrong) to suggest that America had a free economy in the 1920s.
I am not suggesting that Edgar Hoover is responsible for the Great Depression, only that the "leave it alone" stance by Hoover exacerbated that crisis.
How would you explain Japan Inc., and the emerging China Inc.? I don't think that "laissez-faire" economics would work anymore, since economies of scale rewards large business operations, and encourages consolidation of business into ever larger corporations.
I just thought of something that may interest you. I listen to this really entertaining podcast called freedomainradio. The guy is a very good speaker, and he has a few videos on youtube too. Great stuff on economics, really eye opening. You would be amazed by how much of the 'generally accepted truths' that most people hold just fly in the face of evidence, reason and morality. Think about this: how old were you before you first heard the idea that the government is based on forcing people?
I wasnt born in US so I literally dont care who becomes president of US but this guy Ron Paul just deserves to be one. If I can I am gonna vote for him

1. inflatino
2. deflation
3. prices remain the same
Obviously, option 3 is impossible. So, we are left with deflation and inflation.
So, what do you want Dr. Paul? DEFLATION? Seriously?
Why would anyone lend money without interest? Jefferson borrowed money from european creditors for INTEREST, and he purchased the Louisiana territory. WITH DEBT.

Please, Water is more important than all curencies combined. We can surive without paper and gold, what we cannot survive with a s human beings, is water and food.
I never said water should be used as currency, that is a dumb idea, but in the long run, and i will say ti again
WATER IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANY CURRENCY IN THE WORLD.
xxsaxinxx 3 years ago
Cease the ad hominems please. You're too grown up for that.

Water, is not a currency. Don't be a fool and then call me an idiot for calling out your foolishness.
heymisterderp 3 years ago
fine then, let me rephrase,
Water is more important than any Currency in the World.
xxsaxinxx 3 years ago
Food is too. Therefore, it's not saying much.
heymisterderp 3 years ago
that has nothing to do with it, although food is needed to survive too, we were talking about currency and water.
xxsaxinxx 3 years ago
Well yes, and as well, water has nothing to do with the subject at hand. That's the point. Food isn't a currency, food is more important than currency. Now, back to the subject at hand, please.
heymisterderp 3 years ago
Going even further incidentally, if we were all prehistoric hunter-gatherers wearing loincloths, picking berries, and suffering through a drought, I would support the "use water as your currency" nonsense. If you bring me a tall glass of water from the other tribe, I'll give you an onion. Did they have onions back then? And that's my point. We've evolved, so we need the dollar. Let's stand up and protect our dollars, let's protect our granchildren, let's protect our country. Let's WAKE UP.
heymisterderp 3 years ago
Incidentally, the same thing that makes water such a miserable medium of exchange is the same thing that makes gold such a masterful medium of exchange. That isn't just an incidental point, that is THE take home message to understand here.

So there are many reasons why gold is superior and some of those reasons are scientific.
heymisterderp 3 years ago
that may be so, but ultimately, Water is more important than any other currency
xxsaxinxx 3 years ago
Currency is a medium of exchange, and water is no currency. Good grief wake up. You can't use water as a medium of exchange between things of value because it evaporates!
Show me where people are (or were, EVER) using water to trade one thing for the other. The idea is utter foolish nonsense.

Ron Paul blames the poor, the so called welfare State for our problems which are in fact caused by the Israeli fifth column and Jewish controlled press.Ron Paul doesn't mention the war profiteers and he doesn't mention the fact that the bankers are causing inflation, not the poor. He doesn't demand that we go after the war profiteers and the bankers, but instead wants to cut off the poor and scapegoat them for the woes of the World.
rahul2col 3 years ago
Ron Paul has spoken out against war profiteering many times. The welfare state IS to blame for the inadequacies of the welfare state, NOT the poor. Taking (by force) wealth from once part of society and redistributing it to another is impracticable by its nature and should be rejected. Welfare doesn't even serve the real interests of the poor because it makes them 100% dependent on the government. He never once claims that the poor cause inflation that is entirely a faculty error on your part.

One of Ron Paul's consistent lies is that our monetary system creates inflation of necessity. Paul doesn't state the fact that the same Federal Reserve System could as easily contract the money supply and cause deflation as it increases the money supply and causes inflation. He doesn't discuss lack of personal savings, which be needed to provide purchasing power as the economy tanks, and the fact that rich do not pay their fair share of taxes, but instead pass the tax burden to the middle class
rahul2col 3 years ago
No it can't do that. A deflationary trend would destroy the dollars purchasing power at once. A fractional reserve system has to expand credit exponentially to keep the money "owed" from catching up to newly created money in the system. You are acting like the fiat is tied to a stable commodity that it can deflate and inflate against. Its based on debt and only more debt can retain its value. Ironically this destroys its value as well. Stop blaming one faction and look at the system as a whole.
BanjoNaps 3 years ago
I stated that,"Paul lies and states that a fiat money system intrinsically causes inflation, when in fact it can as easily cause deflation".
rahul2col 3 years ago
The deliberate lie that a gold standard inhibits overspending is a myth spread by many agents of the banksters. It is an obvious absurdity on its face, just as the claim that a credit holder's ability to pay his debts is an absolute bar to overspending. A credit card holder can run up unpayable debts, like a government. When such overspending creates unpayable debts, all a gold standard does is increased profits for gold holders and the ability of the bankers to bleed off more American wealth.
rahul2col 3 years ago
how exactly does a government "overspend" when their is only so much gold in existence? Please tell me how. You make big claims, but all I hear is fluff.
BanjoNaps 3 years ago
a typical mindless ron paul supporter writes me a stupid mindless letter. he argues that govt cant overspend. what nnonsense. how does a creditholder overspends without having any money.
rahul2col 3 years ago
Because the credit that they print is not backed by any commodity and thus can be expanded infinitely with NO LIMIT. I didn't ask you to avoid the question, why don't you answer it?
Explain yourself
How could the government overspend when all trade was tied to gold or other such commodity? How would they get the gold to spend. No paper or electronic credit would be possible.
Explain yourself step by step.
BanjoNaps 3 years ago
what nonsense is this loonie talking. which question did i avoid. i answered that most gold supply is controlled by these zionist minions banksters. so please understand they can be inflated and deflated at will.
rahul2col 3 years ago
HOW would a government OVER spend in regard to a gold standard?
BanjoNaps 3 years ago
a very funny question indeed. if the price of a gold ounce is 1000$, it can be manipulated by the people who control the gold supply and can be increased or decreased. you could find your gold backed currency values falling if they decide to depreciate the price. second sometimes in time of war or in cases of outstanding public projects work being completed such flexibility as the fiat system provides is crucial for the sucess of these schemes.
rahul2col 3 years ago
Gold standard means coins of gold you moron, no currency. NO fractional reserve system. The government issues GOLD COINS and has a system of weights and measures. If a bank wants to issues ten paper notes for every once ounce of gold they hold, then they gold to jail for fraud. As they should. Public works DESTROY JOBS they don't create them, because they direct capitol from profitable business and then waste them. You are a idiot fascist pig. Your such a pathetic looter tool.
BanjoNaps 3 years ago

This is the ultimate privatization of money creation and money supply which International Jewry has always sought
rahul2col 3 years ago
That is a terrible distortion of facts, and Ron Paul doesn't want a private bank he wants the USA government to coin its own gold standard to keep money manipulation to a minimum. That way the market can react to this situation more naturally. I doubt "jews" would have any real influence in the system one way or another. Not any more than any other faction. Cornering the gold market has historically failed for many reasons.

When government inevitably grows, they, along with everyone else loose more liberty and become a pressure for more tax which is bad for everyone.
Please, don't defend government.

I'm too tired to even think of the right words- hey we can always turn into one big manufacturinz plant lol
DragonToes13 3 years ago
See people couldn't get people to do the "right" thing - buy products good for them- It's not about Quality , it's a Quantity Culture- so then why should the small business only choose a product line that benefits, when Superstore over there is selling toxic candles by the dozen at a lower price- this guys gotta be selling something- only an idiot would think this gonna end any other way than bad
DragonToes13 3 years ago
built too much too fast on either blood or greed fueled by ego and not enough foundation .
Corp. -THE PUBLIC GAVE ENOUGH- It's not about ONE for all anymore- it's should now be ALL 4 ONE-
DragonToes13 3 years ago

Thomas Jefferson forewarned us...

The market itself is free, but its very nature makes it prone to monopolies, any monopoly.

in theory this can be manipulated and controlled as well through very large injections of cash and extractions of cash!
is it a coincedence that right before the US elections their stock market PLUMMMETS?
YasharMJ 3 years ago
Exactly. That's why there are disclosure rules and anti-trust regulations so that the monopoly power of large corporations can be checked.
There is a need for more transparency, and more open discussions with regards to the monetary policy issues raised by Ron Paul.

I'd like to hear Mr. Paul's views on nuclear proliferation and what to do about it.
tryptala 3 years ago
I'd like to hear Ron Paul's views on were government should not be involved. It would be insane, and has proven to be insane, to allow free markets to decide everything.
Left to its own devices manufacturers will put lead in sweets, or industrial chemicals in milk products for instance. Someone needs to regulate these things, and that someone has to be a government department, and someone has to pay for that, and that someone is the taxpayer.
I never have never seen an in depth interview.
ianclivewright 3 years ago
First of all, we dont have a freemarket. We have a centrally planned socialistic economy with a mask of freemarkets. In a true freemarket, manufacturers would not put lead in sweets because when the news broke theyd be out of business. Of course regulation will always be there and we have plenty of it. But we are about to see what happens when the government gets in the way of the market place and its not going to be good.
IntoEternity0329 3 years ago 4
I beg to differ, capitalism is into short term gains, lead in sweets or mercury in drinking water are of no consequence compared to the large wage, bonus or share dividend. That's just the way humanity is I'm afraid.
Part of the problem with the banks, apart from the social engineering, which I will concede was the root of the problem, is that the bonus culture exacerbated the problem, the manager who earned $20,000,000 dollars last year gets to keep it, while the bank goes to the wall.
ianclivewright 3 years ago
Exactly, and in a true freemarket that manager would have lost everything. Its the government intervening that allowed these CEO's to keep their special packages and walk away from their dieing companys. Neither one of us have ever lived in a true capitalist society. And capitalism doesnt work at all when you mix and blend it with socialism. So its hard to say that capitalism is terrible when we havent had it yet.
IntoEternity0329 3 years ago
How would he have lost everything?
Who's going to take it away from him. Wait I know, he broke the law, the law would need to be enforced, and who's going to enforce it. Well the state of course, and who's going to pay for the police, jails and judges, well the tax payer of course. So capitalism is fine, but you need a regulatory framework, or capitalism is like communism, sheer hell on earth.
ianclivewright 3 years ago 2
Socialism in what sense? As in social security, medicare and medicaid?
WriteLite 3 years ago
^^
that was a very concise and effective awnser.
dawzon 3 years ago
I think you should distinguish between "free market", as in letting supply and demand determine prices, as opposed to the system of government permits and licenses to protect safety of the public.
Permits and licenses in a regulatory framework implies that an action might pose a danger to the public, that's why we apply for a driver's license so that the government can reasonably conclude that we won't plow down and kill pedestrians when we drive.
WriteLite 3 years ago
Exactly, and regulations in markets are necessary and by definition need to be policed.
To police them you need departments, and to pay for those departments you need taxes I'm afraid.
It's stupid to remove red tape, without stopping to consider why that red tape was put there in the first place.

Counterfeiting of securities is the new drug!

Yes. Herbert Hoover was the president. Edgar was the notorious head of the FBI.
I really can't take a guy seriously if his nom de guerre is an insult, "RPHB". You go play in your corner with your crypto-fascist conspiracy while the rest of us try to build a better world.

all i can say is we are gonna regret not electing Ron Paul, brilliant man, a true republican. he doesn't represent the screwed up mess we have today.
jarrodm2002 3 years ago
I totally agree. I believe he has something valuable to say about the machinations of big banking interests, and its relationship with the Federal Reserve.
But most importantly, he comes across as an earnest, dedicated, principled, honest man -- leadership qualities that make him ideal in curbing the excesses of large, powerful corporate concerns.
gobikat 3 years ago
Why doesn't he start a third party? Americans would flock to him if they could hear his voice above the catcalls. There's not been a more opportune moment to create a viable third party than right now. Finally put the corrupted Republican party out of business. They'll never return to their roots. And then the reform of the corrupted Democrats could begin as well. Mr. Paul, take up the gauntlet. There's millions of us waiting to join you! Even true Republicans may jump ship with you, as well.

While I agree with most of what Ron Paul says, to stick to a single economic framework -- the Austrian school -- is just plain wrong. You guys ought to read up on Edgar Hoover and the Great Depression -- your prescriptions would bring us back to the government structures and policies as practiced during that era.
gobikat 3 years ago
How do you know? You would have to have learned all about Austrian Economics before you could make such a statement. Have you? If so, then you would know that Edgar Hoover and the Great Depression had nothing to do with Austrian Economics. Austrian Economics can be reduced to one simple idea: if the government meddles in the economy, there will be problems. More interference means more problems. It would be ridiculous (and simply wrong) to suggest that America had a free economy in the 1920s.
slissone 3 years ago 2
