@Mimolbaty my grandmother is 91 and she's been vegan since she was 20. I've been vegan for almost 20 years. I am more healthy than most of my peers, and have no problem with my protein intake, because protein can be consumed in many different forms. Seems to me you are ill educated and extremely ignorant. Try expanding your horizons and choose to pick up a few books without pictures. You might learn something.
@Char920onUtube You will die earlier than everyone else because vegans and vegetarians are too weak. No protein. Go eat a ham sandwich before you die.
@Mimolbaty not true. humans have been falsely programmed into thinking that, but actually plenty of proper proteins come in nuts, veggies, soymilks, soy meatless burgers and chicken. beans, legumes, etc etc. much much more. its suprising, i know. i am still learning so much as i go. i am new to veganism . its wonderful, but definately strict. suprisingly worth it in mind and body as well as the planet. win win situation here. i hope this helped. It is also about health. Eliminating 50% of meat would greatly help the American health system and increase american's overall longevity. Walk behind the average american and it is not only displeasingly lardy, but just plain sad.

people will always be horrified at the meat industry
slaughterhouses change shifts frequently why?
after enough time killing, many people are prone to finding pleasure in it
we no longer have to hunt for dinner, so yes the meat industry is bloated
i think technology gives us a humane way to end life
but there will always be that asshole who steps on chicken heads
Be thankful humans eat meat, it is why our brains took the next step in the evolutionary chain and have grown bigger, its a good thing

i think its really shallow and superficial to say just to cut down on animal products.it just shows how cruel, selfish and immoral normal people are.

Being vegan isn't tough. I think it's a piece of cake but that's because I really don't want to be responsible for the exploitation of animals.
One point many miss about veganism is: It's not just about food. It's about everything you consume.
