the first time i got into one..i entered with the guys that were delivering the beer lol maybe 6 hours before the concert and i stayed there hiding most of the time until i saw them and as some people were cleaning the stage i went and... i acted like if i was one of them then i started to talk to the guys (the cure) and well after that i think some good link was made because i had access to a few more sound checks and after show parties...lol i was so lucky

this is the soundcheck! and i don' t think the cure lost too much when Boris left,,,,he was awesome for sure... but Boris couls never play in the right Tempo the Old Cure...78-82 and Jason does everything great... both ogf them great dudes... and they even get along really good...

It's not Jason i have been in 8 Cure sound checks and even talked to them...the thing is that they want to play in a different tempo.... i'd rather they played it as before too but's not Jason fault! i hard jason playing in the right tempos a few song from pornography and was awesome... also i saw them rehearsing Foxy Lady(without vocals)....

Boris couldn't play the right tempo? thats because he wanted not to as he wasn't easy to boss. Anyway, they used to play faster on those days.

And I remind you that:

1. Jason uses a metronome for time keeping

2. Jason uses backing tapes to sound good as many of the percussion sounds are already recorded in the tape.

OKAY OKAY OKAY. I might have sounded shallow but I'm usually the opposite. I haven't seen him lately and usually I get used to how the artist USED to look (like Michael jackson) and when I see them nowadays it always throws me offgaurd. I love Robert Smith (not like THAT) for his talents and for The Cure. Don't get me wrong.

Sicily in the summer is incredibly hot due to its close proximity to Africa. I was in Taormina a couple of weeks after this show and it felt like I was in a dessert.
