@bellahyslop This is a half scale prototype of our concept, for this prototype we laser cut some 6mm acrylic (plastic) "connections" and bent at various angles with a hot wire. Then the bamboo was tied around these connections with largeish plastic "cable ties". In real life at full scale we suggest the connections be mild steel 3mm sheet metal (stamped) and the ties would be metal strapping. The prototype acrylic was very brittle and often broke on disassembly. Hope that answers you query.
