Our missile defense system is the best in the world, no one but the Israelis come close to our technology and they got quite a bit of it from us. Didn't Obama watch any of the Gulf war footage or footage from the war in Iraq? Our missiles are laser guided and can land within a foot of the intended target. We can blow up enemy missiles in mid air. Obama is a dangerous idiot if he thinks we should cut back on defense spending while we still fight the war on terror.

The "tests" are carefully constructed and would never exist in the real world. It's been demonstrated that even working systems are easily fooled by rain, fog, or the firing of decoys.

We're pouring money into a pit, and it isn't benefiting us as a proper investment should. As the commenters here demonstrate, military waste seems to be treated quite differently than other government waste.
