Since 1943 is built by the SAME people that build BC, and its on the SAME frostbite engine as BC....alot of us REAL vets are skeptical that 1943 will be anything less then another disapointment.
First off...Bad Company IS NOT Battlefield! Bad Company is a crap game that reeled in BF2 players by slapping the BF title on the cover.
The REAL BF had in game clan support, automated leaderboards, parachutes, prone position, drop shotting, CTF, Conquest, 24 man servers, and the ability to talk to EVERYONE in the room.
All the things Bad Company DOES NOT have. Bad Company was an EPIC failure in the eyes of the real BF2 & BF2-MC vets.
The game is bad, and it cant touch BF-MC. Not only did I NOT bother buying BC (I rented it), but myself & the other vets went BACK to BF-MC & Call of duty 4/5.
These are games that BC cant hold a candle to. If 1943 is anything like BC was....it'll be just as an epic failure that BC was.
BC wasnt that great compared to BF2 but it was a new ENGINE built entirely from SCRATCH. physics for vehicles, guns, gravity, collision, environments, even audio.
when you think of it like that BC doesnt seem so bad. 1943 will be their 3rd Frostbite game.

To each his own I guess, I'm a Battlefield Vet, and I loved and still love Bad Company. I Still play it regularly online.
I started playing Battlefield with the 1942 demo, and every title since then, including all the expansions. In my own opinion, the Battlefield Franchise is one of the most fun games I've played. But then again, I'm easily amused.
But I Still love Bad Company. And I Think 1943 will be equally as amazing.
heh :) why not ask a real hardcore BF player (e.g. a PC gamer who has played every BF game) what they think of the regen health and unlimited ammo. :) its not gonna beat the teamwork and depth of a medic/ammo supply class doing it.

Actually it'll be their second released FrostBite game. Mirror's Edge used Unreal engine.
