I'm against term limits as it destroys the incentives of publicly elected officials to do good. It takes power away from my threat to vote out my elected official.

Officials come to their senses when they realize their poor legislative actions can result in them being voted out. With term limits they can easily be bribed to do anything since they can only be in office for one term. Term limits are not a good idea.
