@ExtremeEnigma28 Um YES it is Roys fault. We had this game won if Roy knew how to hold the football. You cant blame the D for roy williams screw ups as a cowboy
@DCfan971 Yeah, but the defense could've stopped the saints from scoring, and kept the lead ut like always our secondary failed.Idk if ur a football fan, because a logical fan always knows that
if you see the highlight roy did not have to switch hands and he had miles austin to block if he cut around him he would have scored but he didnt and it cost us the game so... it is what it is he gone now so fuck it
Felix Jones is a fast and tough lil muhfucka. Perfect combination. Fast enough to avoid the big dudes up front and strong enough to truck or break away from DBs.
@JohnMorrisonFan22 No... he didn't. How about placing some blame on the offense for not scoring in their first four drives? How about placing some blame on the defense for allowing the game to get to 17-0 in one quarter? How about blaming the defense for not preserving a lead we already had, allowing the Saints to drive 80-90 yards in 80 seconds? Roys fumble didn't help, but he did what he was supposed to do. He saw a defender coming, switched hands. Didn't see the other defender. S#$% happens.
@JohnMorrisonFan22 Roys fumble was the equivalent of a LONG punt... Saints pinned back in their own territory, yet the Defense couldn't stop them from scoring, and run out the last minutes of the game.
@JohnMorrisonFan22 That's what the knee jerk fans see... but logical fans will look at the cause and effect of the entire game. Again, RW's fumble was the equivalent of a great punt. No excuses.
@DCBStar I get what you're saying bro but I don't see it as an equivalent of a long punt and niether would any coach. I see it as a fumble. Period. It was a fumble that resulted, BUT DID NOT CAUSE, in a game winning drive for the Saints. While I don't feel he MADE us lose, I feel he played a decent role. YES, the defense should've held. No excuses. But YOU'RE excusing a fumble because you feel it was equal to a great punt. Doesn't make sense to me. Do you excuse INT's thrown in the red zone?
I still can't believe this was my very first time at a Cowboys game, even tho we lost in a pretty dumb way... :( I still had a blast and will go again, hopefully soon! :D
@wwerulez98 No... the offense just HAD to suck the first three times they were in possession of the ball... the game should've NEVER come down to Roy's Reception or David's Kick.
Well very true. But still it should of never did but roy fumbling ended the game. But not all the blame on williams because our defense let up the TD or field goal don't remeber? lol
@wwerulez98 Very true. I'd like to see Roy Williams come back this year. I think last season showed that he can now, finally play in the Cowboys' offense.
Felix Jones did something that you rarely see done by any runningback. Keep blocking and don't look back until you hear the whistle blow. As you saw you haven't seen Felix lay an eye on Miles the entire play until Miles crossed the goalline. That saved a lot of time.
bye bye Roy.... HELLO LAURENT!

@DCBStar Not really. The only difference is that we had the chance to end the game. It's not like we were forced to give the ball away.

Miles Austin and Dez Bryant are beast, same as Romo and Choice and Jones are actually very beast too, just an oline can't open up any holes for them.
NFLization 1 year ago
@NFLization Agreed, i'm sure this year[if we get to play] we'll be better.
And if Tony Romo does get hurt, i'm sure Jon Kitna definitely has a little gained leadership from this passed season to do well...
Go Cowboys.
