  • just ordered this case. awesome case for the money.

  • will a noctua nh-d14 fit into this case?

  • why the hell did you put in that optical drive? Ruins the design in my eyes :(

    Who needs them anyway.

  • link in the description doesn't work.

  • Great review!

How many fans would you recomend for this case?

  • Comment removed

  • is it ok to cover the top fan .ie puting no fans in just covering the vents with like say a flimsy mouse mat etc.

  • Would Thermalright Hr-02 fit with window closed?

  • im going to put a glass panel on the top of the case or acrylic instead of the wire mesh :p

  • I have the HAF 932 black edition for like 120 Bucks... i like tis one better and its like 100 cheaper. im actually thinking about buying this anyways lol

  • Does this case use spacers/standoffs to give a gap between the motherboard and motherboard tray?

  • i have a problem cause i can't get the I/O panel right on and I also have problems getting the front cover of the drive bay to lose so i can mount a dvd-rom....

  • Here's some info from a consumer: When are companies going to stop putting audio I/O on the front panel?! My mic is USB, the one before it never got unplugged. My headphones plug in to my speakers, not computer...

Seriously, I don't think I've ever seen those ports get used outside of a computer lab/cafe setting.

  • @TOBORtheMighty I use the audio I/O there nothing to complain about

  • is this usb 3.0!?

  • @Phenom69ll No, that's why it's black and uses a USB2.0 plug on the inside...

  • your cute

  • the review was great but some 'studio' lighting would be good to show a bit more detail on all black cases

  • Could you put a 240mm rad in the front and top ?

  • Question! Do the fans come with a molex adapter? Because I dont have many 3 pins on the motherboard nor Molex connectors on the power supply, so I have to use one Molex connector for power to use the two fans...

  • Detailed.

  • The case doesn't come with standoffs? o.O

  • great vid, and superb review only one tip. the light shines in such a way that the case looks so dark you can barely see the details you point out. ;)

  • any place I can buy this thing besides frozencpu? They are charging $26 for shipping.

  • @tulsatrash you can get it direct from bitfenix, for under $20 shipping, still a lot but will save you a few bucks

  • @xblackhawk91x Thank you very much. I managed to find a place called Heatsink Factory that sold it for $59.95 and only charged $11.40 for FedEx Ground Guaranteed shipping.

  • @skitterrusty Yes it is the Hyper 212+ :)

  • will 2 HD6950's and a scythe mugen 2 fit in it?

  • @piggemy

    I would love to know this 2 .. i got 2x 6870 and a mugen 2 rev b

  • 20:12

If the four USB:s were USB 3.0 this case would probably cost over 100€, but using USB 2.0 makes this case cost 64€

  • best case for $60?

  • @onogrirwin

    Yup! Considering it has

lots of optional fans this case

is an indeed best for that price.

oh and the case looks bad ass

    i'll give it 5/5

  • I love the simplistic yet classy look of this case and it is unbelievably cheap!

  • Can it support 240 rad at the top?

  • Thanks for the review, awesome case. Do you think you could possibly fit the noctua nh-d14 cooler in there?

  • @jkmania1

Here's the dimensions of bitfenix shinobi at their website

Shinobi Window maximum CPU cooler height = 159.5mm

Shinobi maximum CPU cooler height = 161.5mm

and the noctua nh-d14 dimension is this one

    140 x 160 x 130 mm (LxHxP)

yeah it fits well on the shinobi windowless one

    ..

  • good job thx for doin this!

  • Superb review mate, subbed. You need more views :) I really like the way you did this video.

If it comes to the case itself... it's great! I'm getting this one next week along with other parts for my new rig, including 6950, nice to see it fits perfectly in the case :)

Thanks for the vid and good luck!

  • Should I get this or a CM 690 II Advanced

  • @ZeroInhibition

If your the type of guy/girl who is fun of

blue led fans and who wants his or her pc a christmas tree

go for cm 690 II advanced.

If your a guy that wants an elegant but stylish case pick this shinobi

    ^_^

  • maybe you will make some close shots of the insidings + removal of the top panel and additional vents instalation as well as dissasebling of the hdd cage to fit another fan or maybe water cooling radiator...

  • @szaleta It seems like a 240 rad could fit in there with some "wiggling." Although, in order to minimize space you'd have to get a res/pump combo instead of a dedicated pump and res. Sucks, but it seems like you can do a pretty nice loop in there.

  • thanks eteknix for reviewing this case. It looks awesome!!!! Going to buy one for my birthday.

  • awesome , my shinobi si on her ( his? :D ) way .. no window version :)

  • Great vid nice case!

  • @RickArter thanks rick :D it really is a beauty!

  • I love the BitFenix cabling :) might get some

  • @xXMW2VideozXx should see the set they do called alchemy, check it out
