@MarshaYoyo And then all throughout 1984 the economy was booming and Reagan won in a landslide by CUTTING TAXES and DEFICIT SPENDING. The middle-class was booming. This was all beginning to happen by late-1983 proving that his policies were working.
Obama's policies now in 2012 have not even COME CLOSE to the amount of growth and recovery that was happening in 1984. Reagan's philosophy WORKED. Obama's thinks we can spend our way out which is FAILING.

A company that wants to grow doesn't tighten its belt, it invests in itself. In many ways, a country is very much like a company. This is the wrong time to pull money out of the economy. If you want to strangle the company, you limit its financial resources while it stagnates and dies.

maybe Obama missed his calling. He has quite a voice. (even though it was just a one liner) He was singing that to someone who he is so in love with. My dear wife of 52 years past away last March, Al Green was one of her favorite singers. In that group is Barry White, Marvin Gaye,Bill Withers. To all the young people music like this is not made anymore. What's nice is back in the day you had to be a singer and sang where people could understand what you a singing not the case in music today. I am so happy that the President reminded us this music is not dead.
