This is actually the incorrect fret placement but the correct fingering. It starts at the 3rd instead of the 2nd, so the entire tutorial is simply played a half step up. Don't believe me? Compare the sounds of this and the original and try playing a half step up.

It should be actually one fret to the right on each string. Unstead of second string second fret, it should be second string third fret and third string fifth fret. So every strummed string should be to the right one fret than your tutorial. You have it right but just off one fret. But I do like the deeper sound of how your is played better
