Render to your computer then put it at the beginnning of all your videos... if you like to change it than save it as a certain name (say Opening) open that file (opening) make your movie then save it as a different name... dont over write "opening"

He is using camastasia Studio to record his video... See the green/red changing/glowing icon in his taskbar at the bottom right. Thats the icon to tell you that it is recording.

great tutorial i watched part 2 aswell, i can already use vegas so a already new most of the things that u shown but i learn some lil bits and bobs witch save me time lol but yh for peeps that are just learning its amazing well done, one thing for u tho is that u dont have to use the cookie cutter to make it wide screen, u can actualy make it proper widescreen instead of black blocks on top and bottum hehe(if u would like to know how just ask and ill explain
