Not really, it was hugely famous for 14 years before Lennon even recorded it. King's remains the definitive version. Lennon's may be popular, but that's where its achievements end - it's hardly a boundary-breaking cover.

So down with the other posters... they are so real and ready to go bigtime.... I know that I have turned on at least 50 of my buddies to them and they all say thanks to me and that can't get that kicking sound out of their heads...... Brian is such a great talent in the writing dept when the songs stand up in his solo format also and have a whole different feel with the lyrics more kicked up front... Look forward to seeing them when they come south this year......
