Hey ali, What i dont understand is that i have made sure i have changed every single one to the one it should be, yet the only one i cant get to chard are the ones that have a drop down menu on it. Any ideas?

@1stoptutorials What i did is used a spry Menu Bar, and i tryed to add color to them like you did useing photoshop, Then when i put in the images i made, Gradeint Yellow to white, Every button a part from the ones with the drop down function on that tab, it did the oposit, For expample, The ones wich you just scroll over are normal (Yellow to white) then the ones wich you would highlight got a drop down menu it would be White to yellow, not yellow to white...

Hey Nemesiidae, yeh i don't see why not. you could try adding a transparent graphic. Make sure you save the graphic as a png or gif

@winkipinky Well it looks like Spry menus will NOT work on ipad or iphone but I did learn that making menus in CSS works on all browsers and iphone/ipad. Not nearly as easy as with spry menus, but the work and they respond much faster as well.

@winkipinky Forgot to mention I used Dreamweaver CS5 to make (or rather) duplicate some menus in CSS. Dreamweaver CS5 lets you see ALL the attached code and assets.. i.e. additional css files needed to adjust the drop down menus.

Made life much easier. I don't think I could write the CSS all by myself.

hi i love these videos thank you, you have helped me loads but i was just wondering is the anyway of getting rid of the graphic and just having the menu's transparent cos coloured boxes dont go with the effects i want to achieve, tahnks Jyla

Hi Jyla, thanks for your comment. I can see no way of doing it via css but i can see you doing it by making a transparent image and then inserting that into the css, you will end up using an image but it will appear transparent. Let me know how you get on. Thanks Jyla

Okay firstly thanks for the help Ali, i created the transparent gif in photoshot applied it and at first it all looks good but when i run the "Active X" control that pops up when i preview it in IE it put the boxes back in a colour that i havnt even added, in firefox it is exactly as i want it, just wondering if the active X control effects the end result of the site thanks Jyla
