Despite of al;l the riots, unlike Pakistan, demographics have not changed in India. In fact if anything, the % of Muslims have increased since independence.
These all r the reasons bcoz of which Minority Rights Group International ranks Pakistan as the 6th most unsafe nation for the minorities. India doesn't even feature in top 20 nations.

For burning minorities alive, u need to have minorities. Do u know that? According to ur own census of 1951, ur 77% population was Muslim while 23% was constituted by minorities. Now in 2011 that 23% has gone down to just 2%. Forcible conversions have been the most influential reason for that.
Despite of al;l the riots, unlike Pakistan, demographics have not changed in India. In fact if anything, the % of Muslims have increased since independence.

According to wikipedia, in last 10 years there have been as many as 12 instances when Christians have been either persecuted or they had to go through the cruelties of blasphemy laws in Pakistan.

I have already said that there are isolated incidents of discrimination against any minority in any country. The difference between Pakistan and India, however, is about the scale and brutality of the attacks on minorities as well as the involvement of govt. and law enforcement officials...all of which are notoriously higher in India than Pakistan.
