It's an interesting question when stripped of its initial entertainment value. The essence of the question is: Would a singular finding that appears to contradict the theory of evolution be significant enough against the mountains of evidence for it to actually shake it?
Given how solid it is, I'm inclined to think that it wouldn't. But it sure would be great fodder for creationists! =)
Absolutely - such a finding would be a good reason to re-examine the theory of evolution, IF we first ruled out all sorts of other factors, and even then, the theory would still hold; we would simply end up with an anomaly which needed to be explained.
@wspol624 He basically said, "That's a good point. I hadn't thought of that but that would certainly be something to consider but it hasn't happened and it's not going to happen."

Please visit my channel for the unpopular truth about homosexuality.
A person does not need religion, hatred or any kind of phobia in order to acknowledge important, qualitative differences between heterosexual attraction / behavior / marriage / adoption and homosexual attraction / behavior / marriage / adoption.
Homosexual activists, with complete support from the media, have succeeded at framing themselves as noble victims and martyrs; it's an effective way to push a social agenda.

If that were to be found, it would likely be the result of yet another Christian hoax. Given their spectacular tradition of such dishonesty, they should be required to go to quite amazing lengths for it to be considered otherwise.
Depends on how far in the future we are able to time travel humans, the skeleton could possibly be different from ours at present.
I also have a question for people, if time travel were to start an alternate timeline, would that be alternate which is parallel to ours, meaning both are in existence or would it override/alter ours to be the new one where that person existed in our timelines past?
@evi3lynni3@sl3ya44 Dawkins merely used the "alien design" hypothesis as a hypothetical. He said something similar to "If humans were created via intelligent design, there is no reason to assume it was by a deity. One could consider the idea that beings who have reached a much higher level of intelligence than ourselves: 1)designed us along with the rest of the organisms on Earth, or 2)simply initiated life on Earth. This is extremely unlikely, but it is possible, unlike Creationists' theory."
Those who believe in evolution have nothing but blind faith and only bits and pieces of scientific evidence.....In no way do they have a complete picture and the whole story....Mostly speculation.
@TheJohnskinner I agree partially (as an archaeologist), but the picture becomes more complete every few years, and that's something religion cannot claim. for example (!), the Bible is static; it is not changing at all. within science there is no progress at all. and since the discovery of DNA, our understanding of the past has improved substantially.

@TheJohnskinner especulation that has lead us to improve the human condition with some things like vaccines ever heard of that?? u ignorant fool, now lets go look at the bible for answers:earth is flat we were created from dust -_- yeah that makes sense
That's hilarious... very very nice. In reality, I don't think a lot of creationists would be happy if we had to incorporate the inevitability of time travel into our premise for the absence of a God.
Listen, when Dawkins says "It hasn't happened, and won't happen", he is
exposing his 'nothing could ever convince me against Darwinian evolution' mentality, because he "knows" there will never exist evidence to the contrary!
@Livelyanv he was only stating the obvious likelihood, he never actually said that if it WERE to happen, that he wouldn't see it as proof of man's coexistence with dinosaurs... and no, this argument would never be used, it was hyperbolicly ridiculous, that's why it was seen as a joke and laughed at, the irony is, an argument of this caliber most probably would be acknowledged in creationist circles...
oh but how it wouldn't surprise me IN THE LEAST if evolutionists actually use this argument in the scenerio that we find fossilized or skeletal human remains in deep strata. In fact, I should expect it.
Sorry about the sound quality, the poor old gent was a bit infirm but had a great statement/question. The question was essentially, (I'm paraphrasing) "Given the strength of the theory of evolution, if we were to find a human skeleton in the same strata of the earth as we might find a dinosaur's bones, would this not be evidence for the possibility of time-travel, rather than a point against evolution?"
That's awesome. I asked him once about Ray Kurzweil and his view on the future of human evolution taking a technological twist.
He said it was interesting science fiction.
