I'm sure I'm not the only one to say that I like Yoshi's Island for the GBA better than for the DS. It's back then games were make with priden not money. The grafics look more like pantings while the Ds version looks thrown together. I've grown up with a lot of the old games like Super Mario World, Yoshi's Island, and Kirby's Adventure, and the older games always seem to capture my heart. Sure the new games look cool, but sometimes it's nice to my old friends.

all the different stages in the game were so epic, it really feels like an adventure you sharing with babymarion and the yoshis and the last boss fight: holy shit...maybe the best climax in video game history!

i never got to play this game. the earliest console i ever played on was the Nintendo 64, with ames like Paper Mario and the like. all i have to say is, i love these old games. it just feels like they had so much more heart than modern games do. i'm not saying that there aren't any good games any more, but it just feels like these timeless classics can never be outdone. i don't know what it is, but they are just better, through and through. <3

Quite possibly one of my most favorite midi songs. I remember this being the first game I ever bought, and it was the first game I ever completely beat as well. Computer software, computer powered gadgets. Sega = All gaming company, but makes consoles? Not anymore. I wish Sega came back, the Big Red and Big Blue, had to hand it to Sega for being what even Sony and Microsoft are not, all about the games before just graphical power and technology alone.

Well the problem for me with the Intro was the fact, that the music starts playing after 0:30. I haven't had the patience back then to wait that long for it . I always thought nice intro...seagulls etc. but i haven't heard the music score till now...because gameplay was to brilliant to wait that long ;)

Yoshi's Island was the first game I played that made me realize that games could have a unique emotional/atmospheric impact on you, and this song was part of that.
