The Gypsy Kings have absolutely nothing to do with this music. Its called Gypsy, and was part of the Lord of the Dance soundtrack. Ronan Hardiman is the composer.
I rode dressage for 2 years and i admit im not pro enough to get very far. i have picked up hunter and i enjoy it a ton but the grace and beauty of dressage still gets me!
it is an easy mistake to make. thinking she's pulling back when she really is keeping a stable connection as the horse moves their head instead of leaving slack in the reins.
from extended trott - over half pass - beautifully performed piaffe -,flying change of leg -pirouette - passage etc..- WOW, everything is included and so true, the horses look as if they were dancing indeed! ~ beautiful to look at, that is for sure!!, I just hope the horses enjoy it as well....
Um mondy, naturally a horse's head "bobs" at walk and canter and gallop therefore the rider's hands should move with the horse's head to allow the horse to have freedom of movement through the head. Only time a horse's head should not "bob" is when trotting, because that indicates lameness. But there are a few bobbing heads at the trot there.
Hello! My name is Shannon and I want to help all of you that have problems in jumping, english, dressage, and halter. If you need any tips or training info, you can comment me on my channel and you could be riding like a pro in no time!! Remember, I am here for helping you all out, not for crit' people......I want to help!! Thank you and Good Luck!!!
Great song, but so many of these horses are symptomatic of the wrong turn modern dressage has taken.
The irregular steps, 'bobbing' heads and noses behind the vertical line are the most visible signs of incorrect training. A good place to learn more: see Gerd Heuschmann
ok please no-one get mad at me for asking this; does anyone recall why monty roberts said he´d want piaff to be left out of dressage? I remember reading that article in which anky said to him it´s sad monty wants it out. How long does piaff-performance usually last in a contest? I´d recall not that long enough to cause harm to the horse or discomfort when the rider really knows what he´s doing and is light with hands? Opinions, anyone? :)
@thebluebot I know! I remember when I first got my horse to do them, I couldn't stop grinning for a week :D he didn't look as good as these ones though :( hehe
i just got the dressage horse (whom i have been riding thanks to the fact the real owner is away in china for work, haha) to do them! it took awhile considering no one was helping me i was just asking randomly, he got what i was saying, now we can do beautiful piaffes and passages.
no ur wrong u dont no wht ur talkin bout so no b4 u talk spurs r used only wen theyr needed to they r NOT USED WHEN THE HORSE IS GOOD My bff uses spurs she uses them the good way Im NOT saying tht evry1 is nice with them but mostly evry1 also ther is NEVR A BRUISE OR CUT stab is a lil extreme NO WHT UR TALKING BOUT B4 U POST IT JUST HURTS PEOPLS FEELINs CONFUSES PEOPL WHO DONT NO OR MAKES PPL MAD! Im none im just correctin u so u dont hate spurs ALSO WHEN I CAP ITs IMPORTANT NOT YELLING
If you at highest dressage level like that- you will know that those riders mos def know how to use spurs. So whoever talking that spurs nonesence need to know that dressage a bit different than western or just riders that use spurs not knowing how to use it or even how to ride. I got my 2 cents inn and i am done here. Peaple read books and take lessons and when you are really good- i mean REALLY GOOD, then you can comment on something that you know about it!
what leg yeilding you guide the horse with your legs and pull one rein back and give with the other and collected trot you justslow down and collect the reains
Sorry folks, "Lord of the Dance" is not by The Gipsy Kings. It was created by Irish composer Ronan Hardiman especially for Michael Flatley's Irish dance spectacular.
