One question people:

Would your rather have a band with a singer who was churned out of something like american idol or Xfactor, who has an angelic singing voice, but with no real musical talent or artistry to their works? Or something like Interpol or the Strokes, who have real artistic depth to their music?

Neither Paul or Julian have a perfect singing voice, and would probably never make it past the second round of a shitty reality music TV show. And that's why their on a whole other level.

@langov3 I totally agree!!! Julian and Paul are way more amazing than anyone on American Idol. I love their voice because they aren't perfect. They both have thier own style of singing that no one can replicate. Being born with an angelic voice is great an all... Lucky you, but if you cant develop musical talent, then your only good for American Idol and being a back-up singer... I love The Strokes and Interpol.

He's the original lead singer, if he was ever replaced, just like with any other group, the songs wouldn't be the same anymore. It's weird how the lead singers of groups just so happen to be THE singer for the group.
