Reminds me of the "Old Days" (1950's). I would always wait for the Boston & Maine to go through Grafton after a storm. They use to keep a Russell Snow Plow at the Potters Place Station. She would clear the track all the way to White River Junction. They put on a beautiful show when they hit big drifts.
Its interesting to know there was a plow kept in Potters place. Grew up in Halcyon (East Andover) and can remember the trains coming past the lake in the late seventies and early eighties. Last traffic on the Northern line
