Funny, I tried to video it too - I sit to the left of you middle of the Paddock. The roar of the crowd is the best! I couldnt believe my eyes..... he JUST made the move on Marco when they went past us... was amazing. I too might have given a shot of Georgetown Rd. I'll have to look! hehe

No, Im english and live in England so not much opportunity to see the 500 or 400 but im a fan of both series but I really can't imagine a stock car being louder than an Indy Car or a F1 car.

I'm sure that Indy and F1 cars are louder, but *perhaps* the sonic experience of NASCAR is more intense due to how close the cars are to each other when the go by?

indy cars are higher pitched so they sound louder, Nascar's are deeper so the sound does not travel as far. Not sure which is classified as "louder" though.

My Seats are in the Southeast Vista About 24 rows up

We can see Turn 1, the short chute, turn 2, the back strech and turn 3... I was screaming Marco's Name so loudly i couldnt talk right for a few days

Marco could have blocked and had that race, but if he would've there was the chance for a big wreck, he's a smart little thing. I hope he sticks around :)

I was further up the paddock, about 110 yards from the start/finish line. I couldn't talk for a week from screaming so loud!

My seats are right to the leaft of the pagoda--that was my 8th straight race and my favorite out of all of them!!

Then you must have a much better view of the start/finish line. We have to crouch down to see that far up the straightaway.
