I loved ECW back in the day, but does anyone notice that Vampire Warrior/Gangrel is not selling it well at all? And the commentary, "They're battling towards the far corner of the arena!" when they're simply walking. Was it just way better when I was a kid?

Dreamer actually said on the Rise and Fall DVD, that when the decision was made for him to take the ECW title off of Taz, he was actually pissed off. He said he wanted to go through his time in ECW without the title.
For him, it was about doing what he loved, and being able to give to the wrestling business, not winning titles.

Fun stuff. This was from Barbed Wire Hoodies and Chokeslams. It was actually VW's second match that night, since he had previously defeated Hack Meyers. VW made a few appearances in Florida and New York and never wrestled for ECW again.
