1. decide either you want people to see your video at all

how do you render a c4d file ? as avi ?

you go to render then render settings ->output->change the frame range to all frames or however many frames yo want. now to save to an avi file go to save under render settings change the format to AVI Movie.

but i would recommend saving your render as image sequences just in case C4D crashes, that how i render my videos.
