So by this logic would the fact that it's been on average 8 degrees above normal here in Michigan this winter prove global warming exists? Heck, I haven't had to shovel my driveway once this year and it's February. Pretty dumb logic if you ask me.

Then, see which one heats up faster. But on a semi-related note, Russia is having record high temperatures (for Russia).

The models indicate (and I know most of you will just dismiss it as more 'expert' rhetoric) that the climate will become more variable over the globe. Some areas will become drier/wetter, some warmer or cooler, some may not change. In many areas weather will become more extreme (ie-Gulf hurricanes). The studies aren't yet complete though.

In the U.K. summers are getting hotter, and winters are getting colder, that is an effect of global warming.
In the U.S. summers may be getting cooler, but there are alot of air currents and water currents being disrupted which may be effecting the weather in your part of the world.
