  • my IRN loves bathing in a dish but is terrified of a spray bottle

  • I BET THEY WOULD LOVE TO FLY, TOO!

It makes me so angry to see that!

What would you say if you couldn't walk???

  • i dont have a cockatiel i have a parakeet but either way i want to kno how you got those two birds to be comfortable with the water?

if i try to bring them to the water as soon as they see it they fly away so i was just wondering how THEY got comfortable with it...

  • annoying voice

  • my cockatiel hates water! he is 7 months old. he runs away from the mister (spray bottle) and when i try to put him in the bath or shower, he runs or tries to fly away. how do i get him to like water? i do try to bath him regularily. please help!

  • Actually you need to buy them toys to play with so they will stop

  • my birds loved this i thought u put them in a sink or a bath and wait but the spray bottle is amazing thank u alot xD

  • my cockatiel had a really white back...i cud see the white dry dandruff like sheet all over his back ...he also had a few soft fur like feathers all over there...but recently he has been plucking a lot at his back...and i don't see the white stuff any more...even though i have been giving him regular baths

  • did you clip their feathers, and do you reccommend it?

  • @LittleMissSuperGirl7 i think the bird should be able to at most hover. do not let its wings to grow long enough so i can fly distances. i lost my bird once when it flew out of the window. luckily i searched my neighbors back yard and found him. i immediately clipped his wings.

  • Thanks for this video. It helped a lot

  • hi, yes this video was reeeeeeally helpful but i have a question, do cockatielslike warm or cool water better?

  • @sugargirl79 room temperature. when you mist them, put warm(but not hot) water in the bottle. like she said in the video, by the time it reaches the bird, it will become room temperature.

  • Excellent video. I have three cockatiels. I bath them often. Come and see my videos.

  • This is a great video. Well done. I do give my cockatiels a spray mist bath every morning in the bathroom. I will try your advice about sprayiing them while on their cage, but to make sure to remove their food first before I do it.
