I wanna play 8 now....I even bought the game from a store a while back and the discs were PERFECT and I popped that sucker in and was anxious to play and finnaly beat the game and THEN......disc read error sign....-_- sigh

As much as I don't like to admit it as I'm stuck on it; this is by a considerable distance the best final fantasy. I love 6,7 and 10, but the soul and feel of 8 is just incredible. Plus its partly nostalgic as 8 was the first one I played. I think I will geek it and finally complete it.

I'll agree the soul and feel were awesome, but the game play made it suck for me. None of the characters were really that different in combat (inherently) and I just generally hate the whole "monsters level with you" thing. The GF system was really cool though, and the seed ranking system.

Nice intro. I have defeated Yiazmat in FFXII, and played FFX, X-2, I, II, III, and won FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus.

I' d like to try VIII and VII of course, (maybe on the PS3 version)

ps3 versions are DLC not discs but i highly suggest you play FF7 first then FF8 there not continue offs but still there awesome

well i dont have a ps1 anymore and my pc is to slow to use ps1 emulators

so the only way i can play it is to get a psp, get a 4 gig mem stick download emu to it and get ff8 rom lol t0 much to do there
