@wingedhybrid16 they didn't know each other, but Rosch knew of eachother.  Remember Snow's group, NORA? Rosch had PSICOM keeping an eye on them. And everyone knew about the valiant Director Rosch, who wasn't afraid to fight alongside his men for the sake of Cocoon.

@xSonntox that wasn't a grenade dude. That was a detonator to make his massive gunship explode. What really deserves an answer is why he sacrificed his life to kill two behemoth kings, which by this point the players can kill in their sleep.

dude i know of 3 times where there has been blood in FF

1. FF7 Ending Cutscene, Seph has blood on face.

2.FF8 Beginning Cutscene, Squall gets cut on face from Seifer

3. THIS, and yet again... blood on face

When Raines dies I was like:" Aw! No! Why do they kill this good looking guy? Well...I still have Rosch...."

Then Rosch dies I was like: " ARRGGH! Fuck it!! >_<

Well...we finally get a character with blood. That was a suprise. And the dead of Raines was a kind of suizid in my opinion.

@darthyoshi217 Actually, Kuja bled in FF9 (and subsequently laughed at it, but that's Kuja for ya). Squall also bled in the opening to FF8 where it showed how he got his iconic scar.

And who knows how many characters were supposed to bleed but could not due to limitations of earlier gaming systems?

So yeah, no "finally" about it. :P
